13For I haveswornנִשְׁבַּ֙עְתִּי֙nish.Ba'.tiH7650by Myself,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “thatBozrahבָצְרָ֑הva.tze.RahH1224will becomeתִּֽהְיֶ֣הtih.YehH1961anobjectH8047of horrorH8047,a reproachלְחֶרְפָּ֛הle.cher.PahH2781,a ruinלְחֹ֥רֶבle.Cho.revH2721and a curseוְלִקְלָלָ֖הve.lik.la.LahH7045;and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605its citiesעָרֶ֥יהָ'a.Rei.haH5892will becomeתִהְיֶ֖ינָהtih.Yei.nahH1961perpetualעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769ruinsלְחָרְב֥וֹתle.cha.re.VotH2723.”

14I haveheardשָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙sha.Ma'.tiH8085a messageשְׁמוּעָ֤הshe.mu.'AhH8052from the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, And anenvoyוְצִ֖ירve.TzirH6735is sentשָׁל֑וּחַsha.Lu.achH7971among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֣םba.go.YimH1471, saying, “Gatherהִֽתְקַבְּצוּ֙hit.ka.be.TzuH6908yourselves together and comeוּבֹ֣אוּu.Vo.'uH935againstעָלֶ֔יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921her,And riseוְק֖וּמוּve.Ku.muH6965up for battleלַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃la.mil.cha.MahH4421!”

15“For beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,I have madeנְתַתִּ֖יךָne.ta.Ti.khaH5414you smallקָטֹ֛ןka.TonH6996among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֑םba.go.YimH1471,Despisedבָּז֖וּיba.ZuiH959among menבָּאָדָֽם׃ba.'a.DamH120.

16As for the terrorתִּֽפְלַצְתְּךָ֞tif.latz.te.KhaH8606of you,The arroganceזְד֣וֹןze.DonH2087of your heartלִבֶּ֔ךָli.Be.khaH3820has deceivedH5378you,O you who liveשֹֽׁכְנִי֙sho.khe.NiH7931in the cleftsבְּחַגְוֵ֣יbe.chag.VeiH2288of therockהַסֶּ֔לַעha.Se.la'H5553,Who occupyתֹּפְשִׂ֖יto.fe.SiH8610the heightמְר֣וֹםme.RomH4791of the hillגִּבְעָ֑הgiv.'AhH1389.Thoughכִּֽי־ki-H3588you makeתַגְבִּ֤יהַtag.Bi.haH1361your nestקִנֶּ֔ךָki.Ne.chaH7064ashighH1361as an eagle’sכַּנֶּ֙שֶׁר֙ka.Ne.sherH5404, I willbringאֽוֹרִידְךָ֖'o.ri.de.KhaH3381you downH3381from thereמִשָּׁ֥םmi.ShamH8033,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

17“EdomH112will becomeוְהָיְתָ֥הve.ha.ye.TahH1961anobjectH8047of horrorלְשַׁמָּ֑הle.sha.MahH8047;everyoneכֹּ֚לkolH3605who passesעֹבֵ֣ר'o.VerH5674by it will be horrifiedיִשֹּׁ֥םyi.ShomH8074and willhissוְיִשְׁרֹ֖קve.yish.RokH8319at allכָּל־kol-H3605its woundsמַכּוֹתֶֽהָ׃ma.ko.Te.haH4347.

18Like theoverthrowכְּֽמַהְפֵּכַ֞תke.mah.pe.KhatH4114of Sodomסְדֹ֧םse.DomH5467and Gomorrahוַעֲמֹרָ֛הva.'a.mo.RahH6017with its neighborsוּשְׁכֵנֶ֖יהָu.she.khe.Nei.haH7934,”saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808oneאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376will liveיֵשֵׁ֥בye.ShevH3427thereשָׁם֙shamH8033,norוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808will a sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָֽם׃'a.DamH120resideיָג֥וּרya.GurH1481in it.

19Beholdהִ֠נֵּהHi.nehH2009,one will comeיַעֲלֶ֨הya.'a.LehH5927up like a lionH743from thethicketsמִגְּא֣וֹןmi.ge.'onH1347of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּן֮hai.yar.DenH3383againstאֶל־'el-H413a perenniallyאֵיתָן֒'ei.TanH386watered pastureנְוֵ֣הne.VehH5116;for in an instantאַרְגִּ֤יעָה'ar.Gi.'ahH7280I will make him runאֲרִיצֶ֨נּוּ'a.ri.Tze.nuH7323away from it, and whoeverוּמִ֥יu.MiH4310ischosenבָח֖וּרva.ChurH977I shall appointאֶפְקֹ֑ד'ef.KodH6485overאֵלֶ֣יהָ'e.Lei.haH413it. For whoמִ֤יmiH4310islikeכָמ֙וֹנִי֙kha.Mo.niH3644Me, and whoוּמִ֣יu.MiH4310will summonיֹעִידֶ֔נִּיyo.'i.De.niH3259Me into court?And whoוּמִי־u.mi-H4310thenזֶ֣הzehH2088is the shepherdרֹעֶ֔הro.'EhH7462whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834can standיַעֲמֹ֖דya.'a.ModH5975againstלְפָנָֽי׃ סle.fa.NaiH6440Me?”

20Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651hearשִׁמְע֣וּshim.'UH8085theplanעֲצַת־'a.tzat-H6098of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834He has plannedיָעַץ֙ya.'AtzH3289againstאֶל־'el-H413EdomH112,and His purposesוּמַ֨חְשְׁבוֹתָ֔יוu.Mach.she.vo.TavH4284whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He has purposedחָשַׁ֖בcha.ShavH2803againstאֶל־'el-H413the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Temanתֵימָ֑ןtei.ManH8487:surelyאִם־ לֹ֤א'im- lo'H518 H3808they will dragיִסְחָבוּם֙yis.cha.VumH5498them offH5498, eventhe littleH6810onesצְעִירֵ֣יtze.'i.ReiH6810of the flockהַצֹּ֔אןha.TzonH6629;surelyאִם־ לֹ֥א'im- lo'H518 H3808He will makeH8074theirpastureנְוֵהֶֽם׃ne.ve.HemH5116desolateH8074becauseעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.lei.HemH5921of them.

21Theearthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776has quakedרָעֲשָׁ֖הra.'a.ShahH7493at the noiseמִקּ֣וֹלmi.KolH6963of their downfallנִפְלָ֔םnif.LamH5307.There is an outcryצְעָקָ֕הtze.'a.KahH6818!The noiseקוֹלָֽהּ׃ko.LahH6963of it has been heardנִשְׁמַ֥עnish.Ma'H8085at theRedס֖וּףsufH5488 H3220Seaבְּיַם־be.yam-H3220.

22Beholdהִנֵּ֤הhi.NehH2009,He will mountיַעֲלֶ֣הya.'a.LehH5927up andswoopוְיִדְאֶ֔הve.yid.'EhH1675like an eagleכַנֶּ֙שֶׁר֙kha.Ne.sherH5404and spreadוְיִפְרֹ֥שׂve.yif.RosH6566out His wingsכְּנָפָ֖יוke.na.FavH3671againstעַל־'al-H5921Bozrahבָּצְרָ֑הbotz.rahH1224; and theheartsלֵ֞בlevH3820of the mightyH1368menH1368of EdomH112in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117will be like the heartכְּלֵ֖בke.LevH3820of a womanאִשָּׁ֥ה'i.ShahH802in laborמְצֵרָֽה׃ סme.tze.RahH6887.
