11Now whenMicaiahמִכָ֨יְהוּmi.Kha.ye.huH4321the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Gemariahגְּמַרְיָ֧הוּge.mar.Ya.huH1587,the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Shaphanשָׁפָ֛ןsha.FanH8227,had heardוַ֠יִּשְׁמַ֗עvai.yish.Ma'H8085allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068from the bookהַסֵּֽפֶר׃ha.Se.ferH5612,

13Micaiahמִכָ֔יְהוּmi.Kha.ye.huH4321declaredוַיַּגֵּ֤דvai.ya.GedH5046to them allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697that he had heardשָׁמֵ֑עַsha.Me.a'H8085when Baruchבָר֛וּךְva.RukhH1263readבִּקְרֹ֥אbik.Ro'H7121from the bookבַּסֵּ֖פֶרba.Se.ferH5612to the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

14Then allכָל־khol-H3605the officialsהַשָּׂרִ֜יםha.sa.RimH8269sentוַיִּשְׁלְח֨וּvai.yish.le.ChuH7971Jehudiיְהוּדִ֡יye.hu.DiH3065the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nethaniahנְ֠תַנְיָהוּNe.tan.ya.huH5418,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Shelemiahשֶׁלֶמְיָ֣הוּshe.lem.Ya.huH8018,the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Cushiכּוּשִׁי֮ku.ShiH3570,to Baruchבָּר֗וּךְba.RukhH1263,sayingלֵאמֹר֒le.MorH559, “Takeקָחֶ֥נָּהka.Che.nahH3947in your handבְיָדְךָ֖ve.ya.de.KhaH3027the scrollהַמְּגִלָּ֗הha.me.gi.LahH4039from whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834you have readקָרָ֤אתָka.Ra.taH7121to the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971and comeוָלֵ֑ךְva.LekhH1980.”So Baruchבָּר֨וּךְba.RukhH1263the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Neriahנֵרִיָּ֤הוּne.ri.Ya.huH5374tookוַ֠יִּקַּחVai.yi.kachH3947the scrollהַמְּגִלָּה֙ha.me.gi.LahH4039in his handבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027and wentוַיָּבֹ֖אvai.ya.Vo'H935to them.

15They saidוַיֹּאמְר֣וּvai.yo.me.RuH559to him, “Sitשֵׁ֣בshevH3427downH3427,pleaseנָ֔אNa'H4994,and readוּקְרָאֶ֖נָּהu.ke.ra.'E.nahH7121it to us.” So Baruchבָר֖וּךְva.RukhH1263readוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121it to them.

16When they had heardכְּשָׁמְעָם֙ke.sha.me.'AmH8085allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֔יםha.de.va.RimH1697,they turnedH6342infearH6342oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376to anotherרֵעֵ֑הוּre.'E.huH7453and saidוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559to Baruchבָּר֔וּךְba.RukhH1263, “We will surelyהַגֵּ֤ידha.GeidH5046reportנַגִּיד֙na.GidH5046allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵֽלֶּה׃ha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697to the kingלַמֶּ֔לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428.”

17And they askedשָׁאֲל֖וּsha.'a.LuH7592Baruchבָּר֔וּךְba.RukhH1263,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Tellהַגֶּד־ha.ged-H5046us, pleaseנָ֣אna'H4994,howאֵ֗יךְ'EikhH349did you writeכָּתַ֛בְתָּka.Tav.taH3789allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֥יםha.de.va.RimH1697? Was itat his dictationמִפִּֽיו׃mi.PivH6310?”

18Then Baruchבָּר֔וּךְba.RukhH1263saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “Hedictatedמִפִּיו֙ יִקְרָ֣אmi.Piv yik.Ra'H4480 H6310 H7121allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697to me, and I wroteכֹּתֵ֥בko.TevH3789them with inkבַּדְּיֽוֹ׃ פba.de.YoH1773on the bookהַסֵּ֖פֶרha.Se.ferH5612.”

19Then the officialsהַשָּׂרִים֙ha.sa.RimH8269saidוַיֹּאמְר֤וּvai.yo.me.RuH559to Baruchבָּר֔וּךְba.RukhH1263, “Goלֵ֥ךְlekhH1980,hideהִסָּתֵ֖רhi.sa.TerH5641yourself, you and Jeremiahוְיִרְמְיָ֑הוּve.yir.me.Ya.huH3414,and do not let anyone knowיֵדַ֖עye.Da'H3045whereאֵיפֹ֥ה'ei.FohH375you are.”
