Context of Revelation 22:6
4they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place. 7“And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.” 8I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 6These sayings are faithful and true - See the preceding chapter, Revelation 21:5. From this verse to the end of the chapter is reckoned the epilogue of this book. The angel affirms the truth of all that had been spoken, Revelation 22:6-11. Jesus Christ confirms what has been affirmed, and pledges himself for the fulfillment of all the prophecies contained in it, Revelation 22:12-17. John cautions his readers against adding or diminishing, and concludes…Read the comment

The news seems to us, habituated as we are to the misery of this fallen world, too good to be true [Nangle]. They are no dreams of a visionary, but the realities of God's sure word. holy--so Andreas.
