Context of Revelation 22:6
4They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5Night shall be no more, and people will have no need for lamplight or sunlight—for Adonai Elohim will shine on them. And they shall reign forever and ever! He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true! Adonai, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must happen soon. 7Behold, I am coming soon! How fortunate is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” 8I, John, am the one hearing and seeing these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel showing me these things.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 6These sayings are faithful and true - See the preceding chapter, Revelation 21:5. From this verse to the end of the chapter is reckoned the epilogue of this book. The angel affirms the truth of all that had been spoken, Revelation 22:6-11. Jesus Christ confirms what has been affirmed, and pledges himself for the fulfillment of all the prophecies contained in it, Revelation 22:12-17. John cautions his readers against adding or diminishing, and concludes…Read the comment

The news seems to us, habituated as we are to the misery of this fallen world, too good to be true [Nangle]. They are no dreams of a visionary, but the realities of God's sure word. holy--so Andreas.
