Context of Revelation 22:6
4They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.” 7“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.” 8I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 6These sayings are faithful and true - See the preceding chapter, Revelation 21:5. From this verse to the end of the chapter is reckoned the epilogue of this book. The angel affirms the truth of all that had been spoken, Revelation 22:6-11. Jesus Christ confirms what has been affirmed, and pledges himself for the fulfillment of all the prophecies contained in it, Revelation 22:12-17. John cautions his readers against adding or diminishing, and concludes…Read the comment

The news seems to us, habituated as we are to the misery of this fallen world, too good to be true [Nangle]. They are no dreams of a visionary, but the realities of God's sure word. holy--so Andreas.
