Malachi 1:6-9
A sonH1121 honoureth [his] fatherH1, and a servantH5650 his masterH113: if then I be a fatherH1, whereH346 is mine honour? and if I be a masterH113, whereH346 is my fearH4172? saith Jehovah of hostsH6635 unto you, priestsH3548, that despiseH959 my nameH8034. But ye sayH559, Wherein have we despisedH959 thy nameH8034?
Ye offer polluted breadH3899 upon mine altarH4196; and ye sayH559, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye sayH559, The tableH7979 of Jehovah is contemptible.
And if ye offer the blindH5787 for sacrificeH2076, is it not evilH7451? And if ye offer the lameH6455 and sickH2470, is it not evilH7451? PresentH7126 it now unto thy governorH6346: will he be pleased with thee? or will he acceptH7521 thy person? saith Jehovah of hostsH6635.
And nowH6258, I pray you, beseech 1GodH410 that he will beH1961 gracious unto us. This hath beenH1961 of your handH3027: will he accept any of your persons? saith Jehovah of hostsH6635.
