Malachi 1:6-9
6A sonH1121 honoreth his fatherH1, and a servantH5650 his masterH113: if then I am a fatherH1, whereH346 is mine honorH3513? and if I am a masterH113, whereH346 is my fearH4172? saith Jehovah of hostsH6635 unto you, O priestsH3548, that despiseH959 my nameH8034. And ye sayH559, Wherein have we despisedH959 thy nameH8034? 7Ye offer polluted breadH3899 upon mine altarH4196. And ye sayH559, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye sayH559, The tableH7979 of Jehovah is contemptible. 8And when ye offer the blindH5787 for sacrificeH2076, it is no evilH7451! and when ye offer the lameH6455 and sickH2470, it is no evilH7451! PresentH7126 it now unto thy governorH6346; will he be pleased with thee? or will he acceptH7521 thy person? saith Jehovah of hostsH6635. 9And nowH6258, I pray you, entreatH2470 the favor of GodH410, that he may beH1961 gracious unto us: this hath beenH1961 by your means: will he accept any of your persons? saith Jehovah of hostsH6635.
