Darby Bible
James 1:19-25
19So that, my belovedG27 brethren, let every manG444 beG1510 swift to hearG191, slowG1021 to speakG2980, slowG1021 to wrathG3709;
20for man's wrathG3709 does not workG2038 1God's righteousnessG1343.
21Wherefore, laying asideG659 all filthiness and abounding of wickednessG2549, acceptG1209 with meekness the implanted wordG3056, which is ableG1410 to saveG4982 your soulsG5590.
22But be ye doersG4163 of [the] wordG3056 and not hearersG202 onlyG3440, beguiling yourselves.
23For if any manG435 beG1510 a hearerG202 of [the] wordG3056 and not a doerG4163, he isG1510 like to a manG435 considering his natural faceG4383 in a mirror:
24for he has considered himself and isG1510 goneG565 awayG565, and straightway he has forgottenG1950 what he wasG1510 like.
25But he that fixes his view on [the] perfectG5046 lawG3551, that of liberty, and abides in [it], beingG1510 not a forgetful hearerG202 but a doerG4163 of [the] workG2041, he shall beG1510 blessed in his doing.
