Amos 7:9-16

And the highH1116 placesH1116 of IsaacH3446 shall be desolatedH8074, and the sanctuariesH4720 of IsraelH3478 shall be laid waste; and I will ariseH6965 against the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379 with the swordH2719.

Then AmaziahH558 the priestH3548 of Bethel sentH7971 to JeroboamH3379 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, AmosH5986 hath conspired against thee in the midstH7130 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478: the landH776 is not ableH3201 to bear all his wordsH1697.

For thusH3541 AmosH5986 saith: JeroboamH3379 shall dieH4191 by the swordH2719, and IsraelH3478 shall certainly goH1540 into captivity out of his landH127.

And AmaziahH558 saidH559 unto AmosH5986, [Thou] seerH2374, go, fleeH1272 awayH1272 into the landH776 of JudahH3063, and eatH398 breadH3899 there, and prophesyH5012 there.

But prophesyH5012 not againH5750 any more at Bethel; for it is the king's sanctuaryH4720, and it is the houseH1004 of the kingdomH4467.

And AmosH5986 answered and saidH559 to AmaziahH558, I was no prophetH5030, neither was I a prophet's sonH1121; but I was a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruit.

And Jehovah tookH3947 me as I followed the flockH6629, and Jehovah saidH559 unto me, Go, prophesyH5012 unto my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478.

And nowH6258 hearH8085 thou the wordH1697 of Jehovah: Thou sayest, ProphesyH5012 not against IsraelH3478, and utter not [wordsH1697] against the houseH1004 of Isaac.
