Amos 6:1-7
WoeH1945 to them that are at easeH7600 in ZionH6726 and that are secureH982 in the mountainH2022 of SamariaH8111, the renowned of the firstH7225 of the nationsH1471, to whom the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 comeH935.
PassH5674 unto CalnehH3641, and seeH7200; and from thence goH3381 to Hamath the greatH7227; and goH3381 down to GathH1661 of the PhilistinesH6430: are they betterH2896 than these kingdomsH4467? or their borderH1366 greaterH7227 than your borderH1366?
Ye that put far away the evilH7451 dayH3117, and cause the seat of violenceH2555 to come near;
that lieH7901 upon bedsH4296 of ivoryH8127, and stretch themselves upon their couchesH4296, and eatH398 the lambsH3733 out of the flockH6629, and the calvesH5695 from the midstH8432 of the stallH4770;
that chant to the sound of the lute, [and] invent them instrumentsH3627 of music, like DavidH1732;
that drinkH8354 wineH3196 in bowlsH4219, and anointH4886 themselves with the chief ointments; but are not grieved for the breach of JosephH3130.
ThereforeH3651 shall they nowH6258 goH1540 captive, with the first that goH1540 captive, and the revelry of them that stretched themselves shall pass awayH5493.
