2 Peter 1:8-15 8 for these things ταῦτα tauta G3778 existing and abounding in you make [ you ] to be neither idle ἀργοὺς argous G692 nor unfruitful ἀκάρπους akarpous G175 as regards the knowledge ἐπίγνωσιν.¶ epignōsin G1922 of our Lord κυρίου kuriou G2962 Jesus Ἰησοῦ Iēsou G2424 Christ Χριστοῦ Christou G5547 ; 9 for he with whom these things ταῦτα, tauta G3778 are G1510 not present is G1510 blind τυφλός tuphlos G5185 , short-sighted , and has forgotten the purging of his former sins G265 . 10 Wherefore the rather μᾶλλον, mallon G3123 , brethren , use diligence to make G4160 your calling κλῆσιν klēsin G2821 and election ἐκλογὴν eklogēn G1589 sure βεβαίαν bebaian G949 , for doing these things ταῦτα tauta G3778 ye will never fall; 11 for thus G3779 shall the entrance into the everlasting kingdom βασιλείαν basileian G932 of our Lord κυρίου kuriou G2962 and Saviour Jesus Ἰησοῦ Iēsou G2424 Christ Χριστοῦ.¶ Christou G5547 be richly πλουσίως plousiōs G4146 furnished unto you . 12 Wherefore I will be careful to put you always ἀεὶ aei G104 in mind of these things τούτων toutōn G3778 , although knowing [ them ] and established in the present truth ἀληθείᾳ. alētheia G225 . 13 But I account it right δίκαιον dikaion G1342 , as long ὅσον hoson G3745 as I am G1510 in this tabernacle σκηνώματι, skēnōmati G4638 , to stir you up by putting [ you ] in remembrance, 14 knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle σκηνώματός skēnōmatos G4638 is G1510 speedily [ to take place ], as also καὶ kai G2532 our Lord κύριος kurios G2962 Jesus Ἰησοῦς Iēsous G2424 Christ Χριστὸς Christos G5547 has manifested to me ; 15 but I will use diligence, that after my departure ye should have also καὶ kai G2532 , at any time , [ in your power] to call to mind these things τούτων toutōn G3778 .
