5So atH5921 the wordH6310 of the LORDH3068, MosesH4872 commandedH6680 the IsraelitesH1121H3478H559: “The tribeH4294 of the sonsH1121 of JosephH3130 speaksH1696 correctlyH3651. 6ThisH2088H1697 is whatH834 the LORDH3068 has commandedH6680 concerning the daughtersH1323 of ZelophehadH6765: They may marryH1961H802 anyone they pleaseH2896H5869, providedH389 they marryH1961H802 within a clanH4940 of the tribeH4294 of their fatherH1. 7NoH3808 inheritanceH5159 in IsraelH1121H3478 may be transferredH5437 from tribeH4294 toH413 tribeH4294, becauseH3588 eachH376 of the IsraelitesH1121H3478 is to retainH1692 the inheritanceH5159 of the tribeH4294 of his fathersH1. 8EveryH3605 daughterH1323 who possessesH3423 an inheritanceH5159 from any IsraeliteH1121H3478H259 tribeH4294 must marryH1961H802 within a clanH4940 of the tribeH4294 of her fatherH1, so thatH4616 everyH376 IsraeliteH1121H3478 will possessH3423 the inheritanceH5159 of his fathersH1. 9NoH3808 inheritanceH5159 may be transferredH5437 from one tribeH4294 toH4294 anotherH312, forH3588 eachH376 tribeH4294 of IsraelH1121H3478 must retainH1692 its inheritanceH5159.”

10So the daughtersH1323 of ZelophehadH6765 didH6213 asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872H3651. 11MahlahH4244, TirzahH8656, HoglahH2295, MilcahH4435, and NoahH5270, the daughtersH1323 of ZelophehadH6765, were marriedH802 to cousins on theirH1121 father’s sideH1730. 12They marriedH1961H802 within the clansH4940 of the descendantsH1121 of ManassehH4519 sonH1121 of JosephH3130, and their inheritanceH5159 remainedH1961 withinH5921 the tribeH4294 of their father’sH1 clanH4940.
