Leviticus 7:1-27
“Now thisH2063 is the lawH8451 of the guilt offeringH817, whichH1931 is mostH6944 holyH6944: 2The guilt offeringH817 must be slaughteredH7819 in the placeH4725 whereH834 the burnt offeringH5930 is slaughteredH7819, and the priest shall splatterH2236 its bloodH1818 on all sidesH5439 ofH5921 the altarH4196. 3AndH853 allH3605 the fatH2459 fromH4480 itH853 shall be offeredH7126: the fat tailH451, the fatH2459 that coversH3680 the entrailsH7130, 4bothH8147 kidneysH3629 with the fatH2459 on themH5921 nearH5921 the loinsH3689, and the lobeH3508 ofH5921 the liverH3516, which is to be removedH5493 withH5921 the kidneysH3629. 5The priestH3548 shall burnH6999 themH853 on the altarH4196 as a food offeringH801 to the LORDH3068; itH1931 is a guilt offeringH817. 6EveryH3605 maleH2145 among the priestsH3548 may eat of itH398. It must be eatenH398 in a holyH6918 placeH4725; itH1931 is mostH6944 holyH6944.
The guilt offeringH817 is like the sin offeringH2403; the sameH259 lawH8451 applies to both. It belongs toH1961 the priestH3548 whoH834 makes atonementH3722 with it. 8As for the priestH3548 who presentsH7126 a burnt offeringH5930 for anyoneH376, the hideH5785 of that offeringH5930 belongs to himH1961. 9Likewise, everyH3605 grain offeringH4503 thatH834 is bakedH644 in an ovenH8574H3605 or cookedH6213 in a panH48021 or onH5921 a griddleH42272 belongsH1961 to the priestH3548 who presentsH7126 itH853, 10and everyH3605 grain offeringH4503, whether dryH2720 or mixedH1101 with oilH8081, belongs equallyH376H251 toH1961 allH3605 the sonsH1121 of AaronH175.
Now thisH2063 is the lawH8451 of the peace offeringH2077H8002 thatH834 one may presentH7126 to the LORDH3068: 12IfH518 he offers itH7126 inH5921 thanksgivingH8426, then along withH5921 the sacrificeH2077 of thanksgivingH8426 he shall offerH7126 unleavenedH4682 cakesH2471 mixedH1101 with olive oilH8081, unleavenedH4682 wafersH7550 coatedH4886 with oilH8081, and well-kneadedH7246 cakesH2471 of fine flourH5560 mixedH1101 with oilH8081.
AlongH5921 withH5921 his peace offeringH2077H8002 of thanksgivingH8426 he is to presentH7126 an offeringH7133 with cakesH2471 of leavenedH2557 breadH3899. 14FromH4480 the cakes he must presentH7126 oneH259 portion of eachH3605 offeringH7133 as a contributionH8641 to the LORDH3068. It belongsH1961 to the priestH3548 who sprinklesH2236 the bloodH1818 of the peace offeringH8002. 15The meatH1320 of the sacrificeH2077 of his peace offeringH8002 of thanksgivingH8426 must be eatenH398 on the dayH3117 he offers itH7133; noneH3808 of itH4480 may be leftH5117 untilH5704 morningH1242.
If, howeverH518, the sacrificeH2077 he offersH7133 is a vowH5088 orH176 a freewill offeringH5071, it shall be eatenH398 on the dayH3117 he presentsH7126 his sacrificeH2077, but the remainderH3498 may be eatenH398 onH4480 the next dayH4283. 17But any meatH1320 of the sacrificeH2077 remainingH3498 until the thirdH7992 dayH3117 must be burned upH784H8313. 18IfH518 any ofH398 the meatH1320 from his peace offeringH2077H8002 is eatenH398 on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, it will notH3808 be acceptedH7521. It will notH3808 be creditedH2803 to the one who presented itH7126; it shall beH1961 an abominationH6292, and the oneH5315 who eatsH398 of itH4480 shall bearH5375 his iniquityH5771.
MeatH1320 thatH834 touchesH5060 anythingH3605 uncleanH2931 must notH3808 be eatenH398; it is to be burned upH784H8313. As forH1320 any other meatH1320, anyoneH3605 who is ceremonially cleanH2889 may eat itH398. 20But if anyoneH5315 whoH834 is uncleanH2932 eatsH398 meatH1320 from the peace offeringH2077H8002 thatH834 belongs to the LORDH3068H5921, thatH1931 personH5315 must be cut offH3772 from his peopleH5971. 21IfH3588 oneH5315 touchesH5060 anythingH3605 uncleanH2931, whetherH176 humanH120 uncleannessH2932, an uncleanH2931 animalH929, orH176 anyH3605 uncleanH2931, detestable thingH8263, and then eatsH398 any of the meatH1320 of the peace offeringH2077H8002 thatH834 belongs to the LORDH3068, thatH1931 personH5315 must be cut offH3772 from his peopleH5971.”
Then the LORDH3068 saidH1696 toH413 MosesH4872H559, 23“SpeakH1696 toH413 the IsraelitesH1121H3478 and sayH559, ‘You are notH3808 to eatH398 anyH3605 of the fatH2459 of an oxH7794, a sheepH3775, or a goatH5795. 24The fatH2459 of an animal found deadH5038H2459 or mauled by wild beastsH2966 may be usedH6213 for any otherH3605 purposeH4399, but you must notH3808 eatH398 itH398.
IfH3588 anyoneH3605 eatsH398 the fatH2459 of an animalH929 from whichH4480 a food offeringH801 may be presentedH7126 to the LORDH3068, the oneH5315 who eats itH398 must be cut offH3772 from his peopleH5971. 26You must notH3808 eatH398 the bloodH1818 of any birdH5775 or animalH929 in anyH3605 of your dwellingsH4186. 27If anyoneH3605H5315 eatsH398 bloodH1818, thatH1931 personH5315 must be cut offH3772 from his peopleH5971.’”
