Leviticus 26:25-46
And I will bringH935 a swordH2719 against youH5921 to executeH5358 the vengeanceH5359 of the covenantH1285. Though you withdrawH622 intoH413 your citiesH5892, I will sendH7971 a plagueH1698 among youH8432, and you will be deliveredH5414 into the handH3027 of the enemyH341. 26When I cut offH7665 your supplyH42941 of breadH3899, tenH6235 womenH802 will bakeH644 your breadH3899 in a singleH259 ovenH8574 and dole outH7725 your breadH3899 by weightH4948, so that you will eatH398 but notH3808 be satisfiedH7646.
But ifH518 in spite of all thisH2063 you do notH3808 obeyH8085 Me, but continue to walkH1980 in hostilityH7147 toward MeH5973, 28then I will walkH1980 in furyH2534 againstH7147 youH5973, and IH589, even IH637, will punishH3256 youH853 sevenfoldH7651 forH5921 your sinsH2403. 29You will eatH398 the fleshH1320 of your own sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323. 30I will destroyH8045 your high placesH1116, cut downH3772 your incense altarsH2553, and heapH5414 your lifeless bodiesH6297 onH5921 the lifeless remainsH6297 of your idolsH1544; and My soulH5315 will despiseH1602 youH853.
I will reduceH5414 your citiesH5892 to rubbleH2723 and lay wasteH8074 your sanctuariesH4720, and I will refuseH3808 to smellH7306 the pleasingH5207 aroma of your sacrificesH7381. 32And IH589 will lay wasteH8074 the landH776, so that your enemiesH341 who dwellH3427 in it will be appalledH8074H5921. 33ButH853 I will scatterH2219 you among the nationsH1471 and will draw outH7324 a swordH2719 after youH310 as your landH776 becomesH1961 desolateH8077 and your citiesH5892 are laidH1961 wasteH2723.
ThenH227 the landH776 shall enjoyH7521 itsH853 SabbathsH7676 allH3605 the daysH3117 it lies desolateH8074, while youH859 are in the landH776 of your enemiesH341. At that timeH227 the landH776 will restH7673 and enjoyH7521 itsH853 SabbathsH7676. 35As long asH3605H3117 it lies desolateH8074, the land will have the restH7673 it did notH3808 receiveH7673 during the SabbathsH7676 when you livedH3427 in itH5921.
As for those of you who surviveH7604, I will sendH935 a faintnessH4816 into their heartsH3824 in the landsH776 of their enemiesH341, so that even the soundH6963 of a windblownH5086 leafH5929 will put them to flightH7291. And they will fleeH5127 as one fleesH4499 the swordH2719, and fallH5307 when no oneH369 pursues themH7291. 37They will stumbleH3782 over oneH376 anotherH251 as beforeH6440 the swordH2719, though no oneH369 is behind themH7291. SoH3808 you will not beH1961 able to standH8617 againstH6440 your enemiesH341.
You will perishH6 among the nationsH1471, and the landH776 of your enemiesH341 will consumeH398 youH853. 39Those of you who surviveH7604 in the landsH776 of your enemiesH341 will waste awayH4743 in their iniquityH5771 andH637 will decayH4743 in the sinsH5771 of their fathersH1H854.
But if they will confessH3034 their iniquityH5771 andH5771 that of their fathersH1 in the unfaithfulnessH4604 thatH834 they practicedH4603 against Me, by whichH834 they have also walkedH637H1980 in hostilityH7147 toward MeH5973— 41andH637 IH589 actedH1980 with hostilityH7147 toward themH5973 and broughtH935 themH853 into the landH776 of their enemiesH341—andH176H227 if their uncircumcisedH6189H227 heartsH3824 will be humbledH3665 and they will make amendsH7521 for their iniquityH5771, 42then I will rememberH2142 My covenantH1285 with JacobH3290 andH637 My covenantH1285 with IsaacH3327H637 and My covenantH1285 with AbrahamH85, and I will rememberH2142 the landH776.
For the landH776 will be abandonedH5800 by them, and it will enjoyH7521 its SabbathsH7676 by lying desolateH8074 without them. And theyH1992 will pay the penaltyH7521 for their iniquityH5771, becauseH3282 they rejectedH3988 My ordinancesH4941 and abhorredH1602H5315 My statutesH2708.
YetH637 in spite ofH1571 thisH2063, when they areH1961 in the landH776 of their enemiesH341, I will notH3808 rejectH3988 orH3808 despise themH1602 so as to destroy themH3615 and breakH6565 My covenantH1285 with themH854; forH3588 IH589 am the LORDH3068 their GodH430. 45But for their sake I will rememberH2142 the covenantH1285 with their fathersH7223, whomH834 I brought outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 in the sightH5869 of the nationsH1471, that I might beH1961 their GodH430. IH589 am the LORDH3068.”
TheseH428 are the statutesH2706, ordinancesH4941, and lawsH8451 thatH834 the LORDH3068 establishedH5414 between HimselfH996 and the IsraelitesH1121H3478 throughH3027 MosesH4872 on MountH2022 SinaiH5514.
