Leviticus 11:29-44
29The followingH2088 creaturesH8318 that moveH8317 alongH5921 the groundH776 are uncleanH2931 for you: the moleH2467, the mouseH5909, any kindH4327 of great lizardH6632, 30the geckoH604, the monitor lizardH3581, the common lizardH3911, the skinkH2546, and the chameleonH8580.
31TheseH428 animals are uncleanH2931 for you among allH3605 the crawling creaturesH8318. WhoeverH3605 touchesH5060 them when they are deadH4194 shall be uncleanH2930 untilH5704 eveningH6153. 32WhenH3605 one of themH834 diesH4194 and fallsH5307 onH5921 something, that article becomes uncleanH2930; anyH3605 articleH3627 of woodH6086H176, clothingH899H176, leatherH5785H176, sackclothH8242, or anyH3605 implementH3627 usedH6213 for workH4399 must be rinsed with waterH4325H935 and will remain uncleanH2930 untilH5704 eveningH6153; then it will be cleanH2891. 33If any of them fallsH5307 intoH413H8432 aH3605 clayH2789 potH3627, everythingH3605 inH8432 it will be uncleanH2930; you must breakH7665 the pot. 34AnyH3605 foodH398H834H400 comingH935 into contactH5921 with waterH4325 from that pot will be uncleanH2930, and anyH3605 drinkH8354H4945 in such aH3605 containerH3627 will be uncleanH2930.
35AnythingH3605 upon whichH834 one of their carcassesH5038 fallsH5307 will be uncleanH2930. If it is an ovenH8574 or cooking potH3600, it must be smashedH5422; itH1992 is uncleanH2931 and will remainH1961 uncleanH2931 for you. 36NeverthelessH389, a springH4599 or cisternH953 containingH4723 waterH4325 will remainH1961 cleanH2889, but one who touchesH5060 a carcass in itH5038 will be uncleanH2930. 37IfH3588 a carcassH5038 fallsH5307 onH5921 anyH3605 seedH2233 for sowingH2221, the seed is cleanH2889; 38but ifH3588 waterH4325 has been putH5414 onH5921 the seedH2233 and a carcassH5038 fallsH5307 on itH5921, itH1931 is uncleanH2931 for you.
39IfH3588 anH4480 animalH929 thatH834H1931 you may eatH402 diesH4191, anyone who touchesH5060 the carcassH5038 will be uncleanH2930 untilH5704 eveningH6153. 40Whoever eatsH398 from the carcassH5038 must washH3526 his clothesH899 and will be uncleanH2930 untilH5704 eveningH6153, and anyone who picks upH5375 the carcassH5038 must washH3526 his clothesH899 and will be uncleanH2930 untilH5704 eveningH6153.
41EveryH3605 creatureH8318 that movesH8317 alongH5921 the groundH776 is detestableH8263; itH1931 must notH3808 be eatenH398. 42Do notH3808 eatH398 any creatureH8318 that movesH8317 alongH5921 the groundH776, whetherH3605 it crawlsH1980 onH5921 its bellyH1512 orH3605 walksH1980 onH5921 fourH702 orH5704H3605 moreH7235 feetH7272H3605; forH3588 suchH1992 creatures are detestableH8263.
43Do notH408 defileH8262 yourselvesH5315 by anyH3605 crawling creatureH8318H8317; do notH3808 become uncleanH2930 or defiledH2930 by them. 44ForH3588 IH589 am the LORDH3068 your GodH430; consecrate yourselves, thereforeH6942, and beH1961 holyH6918, becauseH3588 IH589 am holyH6918.1 You must notH3808 defileH2930 yourselvesH5315 by anyH3605 creatureH8318 that crawlsH7430 alongH5921 the groundH776.
