Deuteronomy 27:9-26

9Then MosesH4872 and the LeviticalH3881 priestsH3548 spokeH1696 toH413 allH3605 IsraelH3478 H559: “Be silentH5535, O IsraelH3478, and listenH8085! ThisH2088 dayH3117 you have becomeH1961 the peopleH5971 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430. 10You shall therefore obeyH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430 and followH6213 His commandmentsH4687 and statutesH2706 IH595 am giving you todayH6680 H3117.”

11On thatH1931 H559 dayH3117 MosesH4872 commandedH6680 the peopleH5971: 12“When you have crossedH5674 the JordanH3383, theseH428 tribes shall standH5975 onH5921 MountH2022 GerizimH1630 to blessH1288 the peopleH5971: SimeonH8095, LeviH3878, JudahH3063, IssacharH3485, JosephH3130, and BenjaminH1144. 13And theseH428 tribes shall standH5975 on MountH2022 EbalH5858 toH5921 deliver the curseH7045: ReubenH7205, GadH1410, AsherH836, ZebulunH2074, DanH1835, and NaphtaliH5321.

14ThenH6030 the LevitesH3881 shall proclaimH559 in a loudH7311 voiceH6963 toH413 everyH3605 IsraeliteH376 H3478:

15‘Cursed isH779 the manH376 whoH834 makesH6213 a carved idolH6459 or molten imageH4541—an abominationH8441 to the LORDH3068, the work ofH4639 the handsH3027 of a craftsmanH2796—and sets it upH7760 in secretH5643.’

And let allH3605 the peopleH5971 H559 sayH6030, ‘AmenH543!’

16‘Cursed isH779 he who dishonorsH7034 his fatherH1 or motherH517.’

And let allH3605 the peopleH5971 sayH559, ‘AmenH543!’

17‘Cursed isH779 he who movesH5253 his neighbor’sH7453 boundary stoneH1366.’
