Deuteronomy 14:22-29
22You must be sure to set aside a tenthH6237 of allH3605 the produceH8393H2233 brought forthH3318 each yearH8141 from your fieldsH7704. 23And you are to eatH398 a tenthH4643 of your grainH1715, new wineH8492, and oilH3323, and the firstbornH1060 of your herdsH1241 and flocksH6629, in the presenceH6440 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430 at the placeH4725 He will chooseH977H8033 as a dwellingH7931 for His NameH8034, so thatH4616 you may learnH3925 to fearH3372 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 alwaysH3605H3117.
24But ifH3588 the distanceH1870 is too greatH7235 forH4480 you to carryH5375 that with whichH3588 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 has blessed youH1288, becauseH3588H3808H3201 the placeH4725 whereH834 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 will chooseH977 to putH7760 His NameH8034H8033H3588 is too far awayH7368H4480, 25then exchangeH5414 it for moneyH3701, takeH6696 the moneyH3701 in your handH3027, and goH1980 toH413 the placeH4725 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 will chooseH977. 26Then you may spendH5414 the moneyH3701 on anythingH3605 youH5315 desireH183: cattleH1241, sheepH6629, wineH3196, strong drinkH7941, or anythingH3605 youH5315 wishH7592. You are to feastH398 thereH8033 in the presenceH6440 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430 and rejoiceH8055H859 with your householdH1004. 27And do notH3808 neglectH5800 the LeviteH3881 within your gatesH8179, sinceH3588 he has noH369 portionH2506 or inheritanceH5159 among youH5973.
28At the endH7097 of every threeH7969 yearsH8141, bringH3318 a tenthH4643 of allH3605 your produceH8393 for thatH1931 yearH8141 and lay it upH5117 within your gatesH8179. 29Then the LeviteH3881 (becauseH3588 he has noH369 portionH2506 or inheritanceH5159 among youH5973), the foreignerH1616, the fatherlessH3490, and the widowH490 within your gatesH8179 may comeH935 and eatH398 and be satisfiedH7646H4616. And the LORDH3068 your GodH430 will blessH1288 you in allH3605 the workH4639 of your handsH3027.
