8He is to bringוְהֵבִ֤יאve.he.Vi'H935themאֹתָם֙'o.TamH853toאֶל־'el-H413the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548,who shall firstרִאשׁוֹנָ֑הri.sho.NahH7223presentוְהִקְרִ֛יבve.hik.RivH7126אֶת־'et-H853the oneאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834for the sin offeringלַחַטָּ֖אתla.cha.TatH2403.He is to twistוּמָלַ֧קu.ma.LakH4454אֶת־'et-H853its headרֹאשׁ֛וֹro.ShoH7218at the frontמִמּ֥וּלmi.MulH4136of its neckעָרְפּ֖וֹa.re.PoH6203withoutוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808severing itיַבְדִּֽיל׃yav.DilH914;

9then he is to sprinkleוְהִזָּ֞הve.hi.ZahH5137some of the bloodמִדַּ֤םmi.DamH1818of the sin offeringהַחַטָּאת֙ha.cha.taTH2403onעַל־'al-H5921the sideקִ֣ירkirH7023of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,while the restוְהַנִּשְׁאָ֣רve.ha.nish.'ArH7604of the bloodבַּדָּ֔םba.DamH1818is drained outיִמָּצֵ֖הyi.ma.TzehH4680atאֶל־'el-H413the baseיְס֣וֹדye.SodH3247of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196.Itהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931isa sin offeringחַטָּ֖אתcha.TatH2403.

10Andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853the priestmust prepareיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֛יha.she.NiH8145birdas a burnt offeringעֹלָ֖ה'o.LahH5930according to the ordinanceכַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑טka.mish.PatH4941.In this way the priestהַכֹּהֵ֛ןha.ko.HenH3548will make atonementוְכִפֶּ֨רve.khi.PerH3722for himעָלָ֧יו'a.LavH5921for the sinמֵחַטָּאת֥וֹme.cha.ta.ToH2403אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he has committedחָטָ֖אcha.Ta'H2398,and he will be forgivenוְנִסְלַ֥חve.nis.LachH5545.
