31Theseאֵ֛לֶּה'E.lehH428animalsare uncleanהַטְּמֵאִ֥יםha.te.me.'ImH2931for youamong allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the crawling creaturesהַשָּׁ֑רֶץha.Sha.retzH8318.Whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605touchesהַנֹּגֵ֧עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060themwhen they are deadבְּמֹתָ֖םbe.mo.TamH4194shall be uncleanיִטְמָ֥אyit.Ma'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153.

32Whenוְכֹ֣לve.KholH3605one of themאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834diesבְּמֹתָ֜םbe.mo.TamH4194and fallsיִפֹּל־yi.pol-H5307onעָלָיו֩'a.LavH5921something, that articlebecomes uncleanיִטְמָ֗אyit.Ma'H2930;anyמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605articleכְּלִי־ke.li-H3627of woodעֵץ֙ א֣וֹ'etz 'oH6086 H176,clothingבֶ֤גֶד אוֹ־Ve.ged 'ov-H899 H176,leatherעוֹר֙ א֣וֹ'Or 'oH5785 H176,sackclothשָׂ֔קSakH8242,or anyכָּל־kol-H3605implementכְּלִ֕יke.LiH3627אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834usedיֵעָשֶׂ֥הye.'a.SehH6213for workמְלָאכָ֖הme.la.KhahH4399must be rinsed with waterבַּמַּ֧יִם יוּבָ֛אba.Ma.yim yu.Va'H4325 H935and will remain uncleanוְטָמֵ֥אve.ta.Me'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעֶ֖רֶבha.'E.revH6153;then it will be cleanוְטָהֵֽר׃ve.ta.HerH2891.

33If any of themfallsיִפֹּ֥לyi.PolH5307intoאֶל־ תּוֹכ֑וֹ'el- to.KhoH413 H8432aוְכָל־ve.kholH3605clayחֶ֔רֶשׂChe.resH2789אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834potכְּלִי־ke.li-H3627,everythingכֹּ֣לkolH3605אֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834inבְּתוֹכ֛וֹbe.to.KhoH8432it will be uncleanיִטְמָ֖אyit.Ma'H2930וְאֹת֥וֹve.'o.ToH853;you must breakתִשְׁבֹּֽרוּ׃tish.Bo.ruH7665the pot.

34Anyמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605foodהָאֹ֜כֶל אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵאָכֵ֗לha.'O.khel 'a.Sher ye.'a.KhelH398 H834 H400אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834comingיָב֥וֹאya.Vo'H935into contactעָלָ֛יו'a.LavH5921with waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325from that potwill be uncleanיִטְמָ֑אyit.Ma'H2930,and anyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605drinkמַשְׁקֶה֙ יִשָּׁתֶ֔הmash.Keh yi.sha.TehH8354 H4945אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834in such aבְּכָל־be.kholH3605containerכְּלִ֖יke.LiH3627will be uncleanיִטְמָֽא׃yit.Ma'H2930.

35Anythingוְ֠כֹלVe.kholH3605upon whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834one of their carcassesמִנִּבְלָתָ֥ם׀mi.niv.la.TamH5038fallsיִפֹּ֨לyi.PolH5307עָלָיו֮'a.LavH5921will be uncleanיִטְמָא֒yit.Ma'H2930.If it is an ovenתַּנּ֧וּרta.NurH8574or cooking potוְכִירַ֛יִםve.khi.Ra.yimH3600,it must be smashedיֻתָּ֖ץyu.TatzH5422;itהֵ֑םHemH1992is uncleanטְמֵאִ֣יםte.me.'ImH2931and will remainיִהְי֥וּyih.YuH1961uncleanוּטְמֵאִ֖יםu.te.me.'ImH2931for you.

36Neverthelessאַ֣ךְ'akhH389,a springמַעְיָ֥ןma'.YanH4599or cisternוּב֛וֹרu.VorH953containingמִקְוֵה־mik.veh-H4723waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325will remainיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961cleanטָה֑וֹרta.HorH2889,but one who touchesוְנֹגֵ֥עַve.no.Ge.a'H5060a carcass in itבְּנִבְלָתָ֖םbe.niv.la.TamH5038will be uncleanיִטְמָֽא׃yit.Ma'H2930.

37Ifוְכִ֤יve.KhiH3588a carcassמִנִּבְלָתָ֔םmi.niv.la.TamH5038fallsיִפֹּל֙yi.PolH5307onעַל־'al-H5921anyכָּל־kol-H3605seedזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233for sowingזֵר֖וּעַze.Ru.a'H2221אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834יִזָּרֵ֑עַyi.za.Re.a'H2232, the seedהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931is cleanטָה֖וֹרta.HorH2889;

38but ifוְכִ֤יve.KhiH3588waterמַ֙יִם֙ma.yimH4325has been putיֻתַּן־yu.tan-H5414onעַל־'al-H5921the seedזֶ֔רַעZe.ra'H2233and a carcassמִנִּבְלָתָ֖םmi.niv.la.TamH5038fallsוְנָפַ֥לve.na.FalH5307on itעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921,itה֖וּאhu'H1931is uncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931for you.
