11Woeה֛וֹיHoH1945to those who rise earlyמַשְׁכִּימֵ֥יmash.ki.MeiH7925in the morningבַבֹּ֖קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242in pursuit ofיִרְדֹּ֑פוּyir.Do.fuH7291strong drinkשֵׁכָ֣רshe.KharH7941,who lingerמְאַחֲרֵ֣יme.'a.cha.ReiH309into the eveningבַנֶּ֔שֶׁףva.Ne.shefH5399,to be inflamedיַדְלִיקֵֽם׃yad.li.KemH1814by wineיַ֖יִןYa.yinH3196.

13Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971will go into exileגָּלָ֥הga.LahH1540for their lackמִבְּלִי־mi.be.li-H1097of understandingדָ֑עַתDa.'atH1847;their dignitariesוּכְבוֹדוֹ֙ מְתֵ֣יu.khe.vo.Do me.TeiH3519 H4962are starvingרָעָ֔בra.'AvH7458and their massesוַהֲמוֹנ֖וֹva.ha.mo.NoH1995are parchedצִחֵ֥הtzi.ChehH6704with thirstצָמָֽא׃tza.Ma'H6772.

14Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651Sheolשְּׁאוֹל֙she.'OlH7585enlargesהִרְחִ֤יבָהhir.Chi.vahH7337its throatנַפְשָׁ֔הּnaf.ShahH5315and opensוּפָעֲרָ֥הu.fa.'a.RahH6473wide its enormousלִבְלִי־ חֹ֑קliv.li- ChokH1097 H2706jawsפִ֖יהָFi.haH6310,and down goוְיָרַ֨דve.ya.RadH3381Zion’snoblesהֲדָרָ֧הּha.da.RahH1926andmassesוַהֲמוֹנָ֛הּva.ha.mo.NahH1995,her revelersוּשְׁאוֹנָ֖הּu.she.'o.NahH7588and carousersוְעָלֵ֥זve.'a.LezH5938!

15So mankindאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120will be brought lowוַיִּשַּׁ֥חvai.yi.ShachH7817,and each manאִ֑ישׁ'IshH376humbledוַיִּשְׁפַּל־vai.yish.pal-H8213;the arrogantגְבֹהִ֖יםge.vo.HimH1364will lowerתִּשְׁפַּֽלְנָה׃tish.Pal.nahH8213their eyesוְעֵינֵ֥יve.'ei.NeiH5869.

16But the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will be exaltedוַיִּגְבַּ֛הvai.yig.BahH1361by His justiceבַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑טba.mish.PatH4941,and the holyהַקָּד֔וֹשׁha.ka.Do.oshH6918Godוְהָאֵל֙ve.ha.'ElH410will show Himself holyנִקְדָּ֖שׁnik.DashH6942in righteousnessבִּצְדָקָֽה׃bitz.da.KahH6666.

17Lambsכְבָשִׂ֖יםkhe.va.SimH3532will grazeוְרָע֥וּve.ra.'UH7462as in their own pasturesכְּדָבְרָ֑םke.da.ve.RamH1699,and strangersגָּרִ֥יםga.RimH1481will feedיֹאכֵֽלוּ׃yo.Khe.luH398in the ruinsוְחָרְב֥וֹתve.cha.re.VotH2723of the wealthyמֵחִ֖יםme.ChimH4220.
