5On thatהַה֗וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will beיִֽהְיֶה֙yih.YehH1961a crownלַעֲטֶ֣רֶתla.'a.Te.retH5850of gloryצְבִ֔יtze.ViH6643,a diademוְלִצְפִירַ֖תve.litz.fi.RatH6843of splendorתִּפְאָרָ֑הtif.'a.RahH8597to the remnantלִשְׁאָ֖רlish.'ArH7605of His peopleעַמּֽוֹ׃a.MoH5971,

6a spiritוּלְר֖וּחַu.le.Ru.achH7307of justiceמִשְׁפָּ֑טmish.PatH4941to him who sitsלַיּוֹשֵׁב֙lai.yo.ShevH3427inעַל־'al-H5921judgmentהַמִּשְׁפָּ֔טha.mish.PatH4941,and a strengthוְלִ֨גְבוּרָ֔הve.Lig.vu.RahH1369to those who repelמְשִׁיבֵ֥יme.shi.VeiH7725the onslaughtמִלְחָמָ֖הmil.cha.MahH4421at the gateשָֽׁעְרָה׃ סSha.'e.rahH8179.

8Forכִּ֚יkiH3588allכָּל־kol-H3605their tablesשֻׁלְחָנ֔וֹתshul.cha.NotH7979are coveredמָלְא֖וּmal.'UH4390with vomitקִ֣יאki'H6892;there is not a placeמָקֽוֹם׃ סma.KomH4725withoutבְּלִ֖יbe.LiH1097filthצֹאָ֑הtzo.'AhH6675.

10Forכִּ֣יkiH3588they hear: “Orderצַ֤וtzavH6673on orderלָצָו֙la.TzavH6673,orderצַ֣וtzavH6673on orderלָצָ֔וla.TzavH6673,lineקַ֥וkavH6957on lineלָקָ֖וla.KavH6957,lineקַ֣וkavH6957on lineלָקָ֑וla.KavH6957;a littleזְעֵ֥ירze.'EirH2191hereשָׁ֖םshamH8033,a littleזְעֵ֥ירze.'EirH2191thereשָֽׁם׃ShamH8033.”

11Indeedכִּ֚יkiH3588,with mockingבְּלַעֲגֵ֣יbe.la.'a.GeiH3934lipsשָׂפָ֔הsa.FahH8193and foreignאַחֶ֑רֶת'a.Che.retH312tonguesוּבְלָשׁ֖וֹןu.ve.la.ShonH3956,He will speakיְדַבֵּ֖רye.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971

12to whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀'a.SherH834He has saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם'a.lei.HemH413: “Thisזֹ֤אתzotH2063is the place of restהַמְּנוּחָה֙ha.me.nu.ChahH4496,let the wearyלֶֽעָיֵ֔ףle.'a.YefH5889restהָנִ֣יחוּha.Ni.chuH5117;thisוְזֹ֖אתve.ZotH2063is the place of reposeהַמַּרְגֵּעָ֑הha.mar.ge.'AhH4774.”But they wouldאָב֖וּא'a.Vu'H14notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808listenשְׁמֽוֹעַ׃she.Mo.a'H8085.

13Then the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068to themwill becomeוְהָיָ֨הve.ha.YahH1961: “Orderצַ֣וtzavH6673on orderלָצָ֞וla.TzavH6673,orderצַ֤וtzavH6673on orderלָצָו֙la.TzavH6673,lineקַ֤וkavH6957on lineלָקָו֙la.KavH6957,lineקַ֣וkavH6957on lineלָקָ֔וla.KavH6957;a littleזְעֵ֥ירze.'EirH2191hereשָׁ֖םshamH8033,a littleזְעֵ֣ירze.'EirH2191thereשָׁ֑םShamH8033,”so thatלְמַ֨עַןle.Ma.'anH4616they will goיֵלְכ֜וּye.le.KhuH1980stumblingוְכָשְׁל֤וּve.kha.she.LuH3782backwardאָחוֹר֙'a.chOrH268and will be injuredוְנִשְׁבָּ֔רוּve.nish.Ba.ruH7665,ensnaredוְנוֹקְשׁ֖וּve.nok.ShuH3369,and capturedוְנִלְכָּֽדוּ׃ פve.nil.Ka.duH3920.

14Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651hearשִׁמְע֥וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,Oאַנְשֵׁ֣י'an.SheiH582scoffersלָצ֑וֹןla.TzonH3944who ruleמֹֽשְׁלֵי֙mo.she.LeiH4910thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088אֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃bi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

15Forכִּ֣יkiH3588you saidאֲמַרְתֶּ֗ם'a.mar.TemH559, “We have madeכָּרַ֤תְנֽוּka.Rat.nuH3772a covenantבְרִית֙ve.RitH1285withאֶת־'et-H854deathמָ֔וֶתMa.vetH4194;we have fashionedעָשִׂ֣ינוּ'a.Si.nuH6213an agreementחֹזֶ֑הcho.ZehH2374 H7885withוְעִם־ve.'im-H5973Sheolשְׁא֖וֹלshe.'olH7585.Whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588the overwhelming scourgeשׁוֹטֵ֤ףsho.TefH7857passes throughיַֽעֲבֹר֙a.varH5674it will notלֹ֣אlo'H3808touch usיְבוֹאֵ֔נוּye.vo.'E.nuH935,becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588we have madeשַׂ֧מְנוּSam.nuH7760liesכָזָ֛בkha.ZavH3577our refugeמַחְסֵ֖נוּmach.Se.nuH4268and falsehoodוּבַשֶּׁ֥קֶרu.va.She.kerH8267our hiding placeנִסְתָּֽרְנוּ׃ סnis.Ta.re.nuH5641.”
