Hebrews 4:3-9
3For we who have believedG4100 do enterG1525 into that restG2663; even as he hath saidG3004,
although the worksG2041 were finished from the foundationG2602 of the worldG2889. 4For he hath saidG3004 somewhereG4225 of the seventhG1442 dayG2250 on this wise, And GodG2316 restedG2664 on the seventhG1442 dayG2250 from all his worksG2041; 5and in this place againG3825,
6Seeing thereforeG3767 it remaineth that some should enterG1525 thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enterG1525 in because of disobedienceG543, 7he againG3825 defineth a certainG5100 dayG2250, To-day, sayingG3004 in DavidG1138 soG5118 long a timeG5550 afterward (even as hath been saidG3004 before),
8For if Joshua had given them restG2664, he would not have spokenG2980 afterward of another dayG2250. 9There remaineth thereforeG686 a sabbath rest for the peopleG2992 of GodG2316.
