2 Samuel 7:18-24
18Then DavidH1732 the kingH4428 wentH935 in, and satH3427 before Jehovah; and he saidH559, Who am I, O Lord Jehovah, and what is my houseH1004, that thou hast broughtH935 me thus far? 19And this was yetH5750 a smallH6994 thing in thine eyesH5869, O LordH136 Jehovah; but thou hast spokenH1696 alsoH1571 of thy servant’sH5650 houseH1004 for a great while to come; and this too after the manner of menH120, O LordH136 Jehovah! 20And what can DavidH1732 sayH1696 more unto thee? for thou knowest thy servantH5650, O LordH136 Jehovah. 21For thy word’s sakeH5668, and according to thine own heartH3820, hast thou wrought all this greatnessH1420, to makeH6213 thy servantH5650 knowH3045 it. 22Wherefore thou art greatH1431, O Jehovah GodH430: for there is none like thee, neither is there any GodH430 besides thee, according to all that we have heardH8085 with our earsH241. 23And what oneH259 nationH1471 in the earthH776 is like thy peopleH5971, even like IsraelH3478, whom GodH430 wentH1980 to redeemH6299 unto himself for a peopleH5971, and to makeH7760 him a nameH8034, and to do great things for you, and terrible things for thy landH776, before thy peopleH5971, whom thou redeemedst to thee out of EgyptH4714, from the nationsH1471 and their godsH430? 24And thou didst establishH3559 to thyself thy peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 to beH1961 a peopleH5971 unto thee for everH5769; and thou, Jehovah, becamest their GodH430.
