2 Samuel 24:13-15
13So GadH1410 cameH935 to DavidH1732, and toldH5046 him, and saidH559 unto him, Shall sevenH7651 yearsH8141 of famineH7458 comeH935 unto thee in thy landH776? or wilt thou fleeH5127 threeH7969 monthsH2320 before thy foes while they pursueH7291 thee? or shall there beH1961 threeH7969 days’H3117 pestilenceH1698 in thy landH776? nowH6258 advise thee, and considerH7200 what answer I shall returnH7725 to him that sentH7971 me. 14And DavidH1732 saidH559 unto GadH1410, I am in a great strait: let us fallH5307 now into the handH3027 of Jehovah; for his mercies are great; and let me not fallH5307 into the handH3027 of manH120.
15So Jehovah sent a pestilenceH1698 upon IsraelH3478 from the morningH1242 even to the timeH6256 appointedH4150; and there diedH4191 of the peopleH5971 from DanH1835 even to Beer-sheba seventyH7657 thousandH505 menH376.
