2 Peter 3:4-9
4and sayingG3004, WhereG4226 isG1510 the promiseG1860 of his coming? for, from the day that the fathersG3962 fell asleepG2837, all thingsG3956 continue as they wereG1510 from the beginning of the creationG2937. 5For this they wilfully forget, that there wereG1510 heavensG3772 from of old, and an earthG1093 compacted out of waterG5204 and amidst waterG5204, by the wordG3056 of GodG2316; 6by which means the worldG2889 that thenG5119 was, being overflowed with waterG5204, perishedG622: 7but the heavensG3772 that nowG1161 areG1510, and the earthG1093, by the sameG846 wordG3056 have beenG1510 storedG2343 up for fireG4442, beingG1510 reserved against the dayG2250 of judgmentG2920 and destructionG684 of ungodlyG765 menG444.
8But forget not this oneG1520 thingG3778, belovedG27, that oneG1520 dayG2250 is with the LordG2962 as a thousandG5507 yearsG2094, and a thousandG5507 yearsG2094 as oneG1520 dayG2250. 9The LordG2962 is not slack concerning his promiseG1860, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perishG622, but that all should come to repentanceG3341.
