10He that believethG4100 onG1519 the SonG5207 of GodG2316 hathG2192 the witnessG3141 inG1722 himselfG1438: he that believethG4100 notG3361 GodG2316 hath madeG4160 himG846 a liarG5583; becauseG3754 he hath notG3756G1519 believedG4100 the testimonyG3141 thatG3739 GodG2316 gaveG3140 ofG4012 hisG846 SonG5207. 11AndG2532 thisG3778 isG2076 the testimonyG3141, thatG3754 GodG2316 hath givenG1325 to usG2254 eternalG166 lifeG2222, andG2532 thisG3778 lifeG2222 isG2076 inG1722 hisG846 SonG5207. 12He that hathG2192 the SonG5207 hathG2192 lifeG2222; and he that hathG2192 notG3361 the SonG5207 of GodG2316 hathG2192 notG3756 lifeG2222. 13These thingsG5023 have I writtenG1125 to youG5213 that believeG4100 onG1519 the nameG3686 of the SonG5207 of GodG2316; thatG2443 ye may knowG1492 that yeG3754 haveG2192 eternalG166 lifeG2222, andG2532 thatG2443 ye may believeG4100 onG1519 the nameG3686 of the SonG5207 of GodG2316.

14AndG2532 thisG3778 isG2076 the confidenceG3954 thatG3739 we haveG2192 inG4314 himG846, thatG3754, ifG1437 we askG154 any thingG5100 accordingG2596 to hisG846 willG2307, he hearethG191 usG2257:1 15AndG2532 ifG1437 we knowG1492 thatG3754 he hearethG191 usG2257, whateverG3739G302 we askG154, we knowG1492 thatG3754 we haveG2192 the petitionsG155 thatG3739 we desiredG154 fromG3844 himG846. 16IfG1437 any manG5100 shall seeG1492 hisG846 brotherG80 sinG264 a sinG266 which is notG3361 toG4314 deathG2288, he shall askG154, andG2532 he shall giveG1325 himG846 lifeG2222 for them that sinG264 notG3361 toG4314 deathG2288. There isG2076 a sinG266 toG4314 deathG2288: I do notG3756 sayG3004 thatG2443 he shall prayG2065 forG4012 itG1565. 17AllG3956 unrighteousnessG93 isG2076 sinG266: andG2532 there isG2076 a sinG266 notG3756 toG4314 deathG2288.

18We knowG1492 thatG3754 whoeverG3956 is bornG1080 ofG1537 GodG2316 sinnethG264 notG3756; butG235 he that is begottenG1080 ofG1537 GodG2316 keepethG5083 himselfG1438, andG2532 that wicked oneG4190 touchethG680 himG846 notG3756.2 19And we knowG1492 thatG3754 we areG2070 ofG1537 GodG2316, andG2532 the wholeG3650 worldG2889 liethG2749 inG1722 wickednessG4190. 20AndG1161 we knowG1492 thatG3754 the SonG5207 of GodG2316 hath comeG2240, andG2532 hath givenG1325 usG2254 an understandingG1271, thatG2443 we may knowG1097 him that is trueG228, andG2532 we areG2070 inG1722 him that is trueG228, even inG1722 hisG846 SonG5207 JesusG2424 ChristG5547. ThisG3778 isG2076 the trueG228 GodG2316, andG2532 eternalG166 lifeG2222. 21Little childrenG5040, keepG5442 yourselvesG1438 fromG575 idolsG1497. AmenG281.
