7AndJonathanיְהוֹנָתָן֙ye.ho.na.TanH3083calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121Davidלְדָוִ֔דle.da.VidH1732, andJonathanיְה֣וֹנָתָ֔ןye.Ho.na.TanH3083showedוַיַּגֶּד־vai.ya.ged-H5046him all thosethingsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697. AndJonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֤ןye.ho.na.TanH3083broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732toSaulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586, and he was in hispresenceלְפָנָ֖יוle.fa.NavH6440, as in timespastכְּאֶתְמ֥וֹל שִׁלְשֽׁוֹם׃ סke.'et.Mol shil.ShomH865H8032.
8And there waswarהַמִּלְחָמָ֖הha.mil.cha.MahH4421againוַתּ֥וֹסֶףva.To.sefH3254: andDavidדָוִ֜דda.VidH1732wentoutוַיֵּצֵ֨אvai.ye.Tze'H3318, andfoughtוַיִּלָּ֣חֶםvai.yi.La.chemH3898with thePhilistinesבַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗יםba.pe.lish.TimH6430, andslewוַיַּ֤ךְvai.YakhH5221them with agreatגְדוֹלָ֔הge.do.LahH1419slaughterמַכָּ֣הma.KahH4347; and theyfledוַיָּנֻ֖סוּvai.ya.Nu.suH5127fromמִפָּנָֽיו׃mi.pa.NavH6440him.
9And theevilרָעָה֙ra.'AhH7451spiritר֨וּחַRu.achH7307from theLORDיְהוָ֤ה׀Yah.wehH3068was uponSaulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586, as hesatיוֹשֵׁ֔בyo.ShevH3427in hishouseבְּבֵית֣וֹbe.vei.ToH1004with hisjavelinוַחֲנִית֖וֹva.cha.ni.ToH2595in hishandבְּיָד֑וֹbe.ya.DoH3027: andDavidוְדָוִ֖דve.da.VidH1732playedמְנַגֵּ֥ןme.na.GenH5059with hishandבְּיָֽד׃be.YadH3027.
10AndSaulשָׁא֜וּלsha.'UlH7586soughtוַיְבַקֵּ֨שׁvay.va.KeshH1245tosmiteלְהַכּ֤וֹתle.ha.KotH5221Davidבְּדָוִ֣דbe.da.VidH1732even to thewallוּבַקִּ֔ירu.va.KirH7023with thejavelinבַּֽחֲנִית֙ba.cha.NitH2595; but he slippedawayוַיִּפְטַר֙vai.yif.TarH6362fromSaul’sשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586presenceמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440, and hesmoteוַיַּ֥ךְvai.YakhH5221thejavelinהַחֲנִ֖יתha.cha.NitH2595into thewallבַּקִּ֑ירba.KirH7023: andDavidוְדָוִ֛דve.da.VidH1732fledנָ֥סnasH5127, andescapedוַיִּמָּלֵ֖טvai.yi.ma.LetH4422thatnightבַּלַּ֥יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915.

16And when themessengersהַמַּלְאָכִ֔יםha.mal.'a.KhimH4397had comeinוַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙vai.ya.Vo.'uH935, behold, there was animageהַתְּרָפִ֖יםha.te.ra.FimH8655in thebedהַמִּטָּ֑הha.mi.TahH4296, with apillowוּכְבִ֥ירu.khe.VirH3523ofgoatsהָעִזִּ֖יםha.'i.ZimH5795’ hair for hisheadמְרַאֲשֹׁתָֽיו׃me.ra.'a.sho.TavH4763.
