Jeremiah 14:17-22

17You will sayH559 thisH2088 wordH1697 to them, ‘1Let my eyesH5869 streamH3381 downH3381 tearsH1832 nightH3915 and dayH3119, And let them not ceaseH1820; For the virginH1330 2daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971 has been crushedH7665 with a mightyH1419 blowH7667, With a sorelyH3966 3infectedH2470 woundH4347.18IfH518 I 4goH3318 outH3318 to the countryH7704, ThereH2009 are those killedH2491 by the swordH2719! Or ifH518 I enterH935 the cityH5892, ThereH2009 are diseasesH8463 from famineH7458! For 5bothH1571 prophetH5030 and priestH3548 Have wanderedH5503 aroundH5503 in the landH776 that they do not knowH3045.’”

19Have You completelyH3988 6rejectedH3988 JudahH3063? OrH518 have 7You loathedH1602 ZionH6726? WhyH4069 have You strickenH5221 us so that we 8are beyondH369 healingH4832? We 9waitedH6960 for peaceH7965, but nothingH369 goodH2896 came; And for a timeH6256 of healingH4832, but beholdH2009, terrorH1205!20We 10knowH3045 our wickednessH7562, LordH3068, The wrongdoingH5771 of our fathersH1, for 11we have sinnedH2398 against You.21Do not despiseH5006 us, 12for the sakeH4616 of Your own nameH8034; Do not disgraceH5034 the 13throneH3678 of Your gloryH3519. RememberH2142 and do not annulH6565 Your covenantH1285 with us.22AreH3426 thereH3426 anyH3426 among the 1415idolsH1892 of the nationsH1471 who 16giveH1652 rainH1652? OrH518 can the heavensH8064 grantH5414 showersH7241? Is it not You, LordH3068 our GodH430? Therefore we 17waitH6960 for You, For You are the one who has doneH6213 allH3605 theseH428 thingsH428.
