Isaiah 7:16-25
161For beforeH2962 the boyH5288 knowsH3045 enough to refuseH3988 evilH7451 and chooseH977 goodH2896, 2the landH127 whoseH834 twoH8147 kingsH4428 you dreadH6973 will be abandonedH5800. 17The LordH3068 will bringH935 on you, on your peopleH5971, and on your father’sH1 houseH1004 suchH834 daysH3117 as have not comeH935 sinceH4480 the dayH3117 that 3EphraimH669 separatedH5493 from JudahH3063--the days of the 4kingH4428 of AssyriaH804.”
18On that dayH3117 the LordH3068 will 5whistleH8319 for the flyH2070 that is in the 67remotestH7097 partH7097 of the canalsH2975 of EgyptH4714 and for the beeH1682 that is in the landH776 of AssyriaH804. 19They will allH3605 comeH935 and settleH5117 on the steepH1327 8ravinesH5158, on the 9ledgesH5357 of the cliffsH5553, 10on allH3605 the thornH5285 bushesH5285, and on allH3605 the wateringH5097 placesH5097.
20On that dayH3117 the LordH136 will 11shaveH1548 with a 12razorH8593, 13hiredH7917 from regionsH5676 beyondH5676 14the Euphrates RiverH5104 (that is, with the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804), the headH7218 and the hairH8181 of the legsH7272; and it will alsoH1571 removeH5595 the beardH2206.
21Now on that dayH3117 a personH376 may keepH2421 aliveH2421 only a 15heiferH5697H1241 and a pairH8147 of sheepH6629; 22and becauseH4480 of the abundanceH7230 of the milkH2461 producedH6213 he will eatH398 16curdsH2529, for everyoneH3605 who is leftH3498 withinH7130 the landH776 will eatH398 1718curdsH2529 and honeyH1706.
23And it will comeH1961 aboutH1961 on that dayH3117, 19that everyH3605 placeH4725 whereH834H8033 there used to be a thousandH505 vinesH1612, valued at a thousandH505 shekels of silverH3701, will becomeH1961 20briarsH8068 and thornsH7898. 24People will comeH935 thereH8033 with bowsH7198 and arrowsH2671, becauseH3588 allH3605 the landH776 will be briarsH8068 and thornsH7898. 25As for allH3605 the hillsH2022 whichH834 used to be cultivatedH5737 with the plowH4576, you will not goH935 thereH8033 for fearH3374 of briarsH8068 and thornsH7898; but they will becomeH1961 a placeH4916 forH4916 2122pasturingH4916 oxenH7794 and for sheepH7716 to trampleH4823.
