Exodus 7:7-24

7And MosesH4872 was 1eightyH8084 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and AaronH175 2eighty-threeH8084, when they spokeH1696 to PharaohH6547.

8Now the LordH3068 spokeH559 to MosesH4872 and AaronH175, sayingH559, 9“WhenH3588 PharaohH6547 speaksH1696 to you, sayingH559, ‘34WorkH5414 a miracleH4159,’ then you shall sayH559 to AaronH175, ‘5TakeH3947 your staffH4294 and throwH7993 it downH7993 beforeH6440 PharaohH6547, so that it may turnH1961 into a serpentH8577.’” 10So MosesH4872 and AaronH175 cameH935 to PharaohH6547, and soH3651 they didH6213, justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 had commandedH6680; and AaronH175 threwH7993 his staffH4294 downH7993 beforeH6440 PharaohH6547 and 6his servantsH5650, and it 7turnedH1961 into a serpentH8577. 11Then PharaohH6547 alsoH1571 8calledH7121 for the wiseH2450 menH2450 and the sorcerersH3784, and they tooH1571, the 9soothsayerH2748 priestsH2748 of EgyptH4714, didH6213 the sameH3651 with 10their secretH3909 artsH3909. 12For eachH376 oneH376 threwH7993 downH7993 his staffH4294, and they turnedH1961 into serpentsH8577. But Aaron’sH175 staffH4294 swallowedH1104 their staffsH4294. 13Yet 11Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820 was 12hardenedH2388, and he did not listenH8085 to them, justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 had saidH1696.

14Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820 is 13stubbornH3515; he refusesH3985 to letH7971 the peopleH5971 goH7971. 15GoH1980 to PharaohH6547 in the morningH1242 14justH2009 asH2009 15he is goingH3318 outH3318 to the waterH4325, and positionH5324 yourself to meetH7122 him on the bankH8193 of the NileH2975; and you shall takeH3947 in your handH3027 16the staffH4294 that was turnedH2015 into a serpentH5175. 16And 17you shall sayH559 to him, ‘The LordH3068, the GodH430 of the HebrewsH5680, sentH7971 me to you, sayingH559, “18LetH7971 My peopleH5971 goH7971, so that they may serveH5647 Me in the wildernessH4057. But beholdH2009, you have not listenedH8085 upH5704 toH5704 nowH3541.” 17ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559: “19By thisH2088 you shall knowH3045 that I am the LordH3068: beholdH2009, I am going to strikeH5221 20the waterH4325 that is in the NileH2975 with the staffH4294 that is in my handH3027, and 21it will be turnedH2015 into bloodH1818. 18Then 22the fishH1710 that are in the NileH2975 will dieH4191, the NileH2975 will stinkH887, and the EgyptiansH4714 will 2324noH3811 longerH3811 beH3811 ableH3811 to drinkH8354 waterH4325 from the NileH2975.”’” 19Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “SayH559 to AaronH175, ‘TakeH3947 your staffH4294 and 25extendH5186 your handH3027 overH5921 the watersH4325 of EgyptH4714, overH5921 their riversH5104, overH5921 their 26streamsH2975, overH5921 their poolsH98, and overH5921 allH3605 their reservoirsH4723 of waterH4325, so that they may becomeH1961 bloodH1818; and there will be bloodH1818 through allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, both in containers of woodH6086 and in containers of stoneH68.’”

20So MosesH4872 and AaronH175 didH6213 justH3651H3512 as the LordH3068 had commandedH6680. And he liftedH7311 upH7311 2728the staffH4294 and struckH5221 the waterH4325 that was in the NileH2975 in the sightH5869 of PharaohH6547 and in the sightH5869 of his servantsH5650; and 29allH3605 the waterH4325 that was in the NileH2975 was turnedH2015 into bloodH1818. 21Then the fishH1710 that were in the NileH2975 diedH4191, and the NileH2975 stankH887, so that the EgyptiansH4714 couldH3201 not drinkH8354 waterH4325 from the NileH2975. And the bloodH1818 was through allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 2230But the soothsayerH2748 priestsH2748 of EgyptH4714 didH6213 the sameH3651 with their secretH3909 artsH3909; and Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820 was 31hardenedH2388, and he did not listenH8085 to them, justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 had saidH1696. 23Then PharaohH6547 turnedH6437 and wentH935 into his houseH1004 32with noH3808 concernH7896H3820 evenH1571 for thisH2088. 24So allH3605 the EgyptiansH4714 dugH2658 aroundH5439 the NileH2975 for waterH4325 to drinkH8354, becauseH3588 they couldH3201 not drinkH8354 from the waterH4325 of the NileH2975.
