The Tabernacle Underwritten

1“Now BezalelH1212, OholiabH171, and everyH3605 1skillfulH2450H3820 personH376 in whomH834 the LordH3068 has putH5414 2skillH2451 and understandingH8394 to knowH3045 how to performH6213 allH3605 the workH4399 3in the constructionH5656 of the sanctuaryH6944, shall performH6213 in accordance with everythingH3605 that the LordH3068 has commandedH6680.”

2Then MosesH4872 calledH7121 BezalelH1212, OholiabH171, and everyH3605 4skillfulH2450H3820 personH376 in 5whomH834 the LordH3068 had putH5414 6skillH2451, 7everyoneH3605 whoseH834 heartH3820 stirredH5375 him, to comeH7126 to the workH4399 to performH6213 it. 3They receivedH3947 from MosesH4872 everyH3605 8contributionH8641 whichH834 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 had broughtH935 to performH6213 9the workH4399 10in the constructionH5656 of the sanctuaryH6944. And they stillH5750 continued bringingH935 to him 11voluntaryH5071 offeringsH5071 everyH1242 morningH1242. 4And allH3605 the 12skillfulH2450 peopleH2450 who were performingH6213 allH3605 the workH4399 of the sanctuaryH6944 cameH935, eachH376 from 13the workH4399 whichH834 they were performingH6213, 5and they saidH559 to 14MosesH4872, “15The peopleH5971 are bringingH935 muchH7235 moreH7235 thanH4480 enoughH1767 for the 16constructionH5656 workH5656 whichH834 the LordH3068 commandedH6680 us to 17performH6213.” 6So MosesH4872 issuedH6680 aH6680 commandH6680, and circulatedH5674 a 18proclamationH6963 throughout the campH4264, sayingH559, “NoH408 manH376 or womanH802 is to performH6213 workH4399 anyH5750 longerH5750 for the 19contributionsH8641 of the sanctuaryH6944.” So the peopleH5971 were restrainedH3607 from bringingH935 any more. 720For the 21materialH4399 they hadH1961 was sufficientH1767 and moreH3498 thanH3498 enoughH3498 for allH3605 the workH4399, to performH6213 it.

Construction Begins

822AllH3605 the 23skillfulH2450H3820 peopleH2450 among those who were performingH6213 the workH4399 madeH6213 the 24tabernacleH4908 with tenH6235 curtainsH3407; of fineH8336 twistedH7806 linenH8336 and 25violetH8504, purpleH713, and scarletH8144 material, with cherubimH3742, the workH4639 of a skilledH2803 embroidererH2803, 26Bezalel madeH6213 them. 9The lengthH753 of eachH259 curtainH3407 was 27twenty-eightH6242H8083 cubitsH520, and the widthH7341 of eachH259 curtainH3407 fourH702 cubitsH520; allH3605 the curtainsH3407 had 28the sameH259 measurementsH4060. 10He 29joinedH2266 fiveH2568 curtainsH3407 to oneH259 anotherH259, and the other fiveH2568 curtainsH3407 he 30joinedH2266 to oneH259 anotherH259. 11And he madeH6213 loopsH3884 of violetH8504 on the edgeH8193 of the 31outermostH7098 curtainH3407 in the firstH259 32setH4225; he didH6213 likewiseH3651 on the edgeH8193 of the curtainH3407 that was 33outermostH7020 in the secondH8145 34setH4225. 12He madeH6213 35fiftyH2572 loopsH3884 in the oneH259 curtainH3407, and he madeH6213 fiftyH2572 loopsH3884 on the 36edgeH7097 of the curtainH3407 that was in the secondH8145 37setH4225; the loopsH3884 were oppositeH6901 eachH259 otherH259. 13He also madeH6213 38fiftyH2572 claspsH7165 of goldH2091, and 39joinedH2266 the curtainsH3407 to oneH259 anotherH259 with the claspsH7165, so that the tabernacleH4908 was 40a unitH259.

14Then 41he madeH6213 curtainsH3407 of goats’H5795 hair for a tentH168 overH5921 the tabernacleH4908; he 42madeH6213 elevenH6249H6240 curtainsH3407 in all. 15The lengthH753 of eachH259 curtainH3407 was thirtyH7970 cubitsH520, and fourH702 cubitsH520 was the widthH7341 of eachH259 curtainH3407; the elevenH6249H6240 curtainsH3407 had 43the sameH259 measurementsH4060. 16He 44joinedH2266 fiveH2568 curtainsH3407 byH905 themselvesH905, and the other sixH8337 curtainsH3407 byH905 themselvesH905. 17Moreover, he madeH6213 fiftyH2572 loopsH3884 on the edgeH8193 of the curtainH3407 that was outermostH7020 in the first 45setH4225, and he madeH6213 fiftyH2572 loopsH3884 on the edgeH8193 of the curtainH3407 that was outermost in the secondH8145 46setH2279. 18He also madeH6213 fiftyH2572 claspsH7165 of 47bronzeH5178 to 48joinH2266 the tentH168 togetherH2266 so that it would be 49a unitH259. 19And he madeH6213 a coveringH4372 for the tentH168 of rams’H352 skinsH5785 50dyedH119 redH119, and a coveringH4372 of 51fineH8476 leatherH5785 aboveH4480H4605.

2052Then he madeH6213 the boardsH7175 for the tabernacleH4908 of acaciaH7848 woodH6086, standingH5975 uprightH5975. 21TenH6235 cubitsH520 was the lengthH753 of 53each boardH7175, and one and a halfH2677 cubitsH520 the widthH7341 of eachH259 boardH7175. 22There were twoH8147 tenonsH3027 for eachH259 boardH7175, 54fittedH7947 to oneH259 anotherH259; he didH6213 thisH3651 to allH3605 the boardsH7175 of the tabernacleH4908. 23So he madeH6213 the boardsH7175 for the tabernacleH4908: twentyH6242 boardsH7175 55for the southH5045H8486 sideH6285; 24and he madeH6213 fortyH705 basesH134 of silverH3701 underH8478 the twentyH6242 boardsH7175; twoH8147 basesH134 underH8478 oneH259 boardH7175 for its twoH8147 tenonsH3027, and twoH8147 basesH134 underH8478 anotherH259 boardH7175 for its twoH8147 tenonsH3027. 25Then for the secondH8145 sideH6763 of the tabernacleH4908, on the northH6828 sideH6285, he madeH6213 twentyH6242 boardsH7175, 26and their fortyH705 basesH134 of silverH3701; twoH8147 basesH134 underH8478 oneH259 boardH7175, and twoH8147 basesH134 underH8478 anotherH259 boardH7175. 27And for the 56backH3411 of the tabernacleH4908, to the westH3220, he madeH6213 sixH8337 boardsH7175. 28He madeH6213 twoH8147 boardsH7175 for the cornersH4740 of the 57tabernacleH4908 at the 58backH3411. 29They were doubleH8382 beneathH4295, and togetherH3164 they were completeH8535 to its 59topH7218, 60to the firstH259 ringH2885; he didH6213 thisH3651 with bothH8147 of them for the twoH8147 cornersH4740. 30There were eightH8083 boardsH7175 with their basesH134 of silverH3701, sixteenH8337H6240 basesH134, twoH8147 basesH134 underH8478 everyH259 boardH7175.
