2 Chronicles 30:1-9
1Now HezekiahH2396 sentH7971 word to allH3605 IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063 and alsoH1571 wroteH3789 lettersH107 to EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519, that they should comeH935 to the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 in JerusalemH3389 to 1celebrateH6213 the PassoverH6453 to the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478. 2For the kingH4428 and his princesH8269 and allH3605 the assemblyH6951 in JerusalemH3389 had decidedH3289 2to celebrateH6213 the PassoverH6453 in the secondH8145 monthH2320, 3sinceH3588 they couldH3201 not celebrateH6213 it 3at that timeH6256, becauseH3588 the priestsH3548 had not consecratedH6942 themselves in sufficientH1767 numbersH1767, norH3808 had the peopleH5971 been gatheredH622 to JerusalemH3389. 4So the 4decisionH1697 wasH3474 rightH3474 in the sightH5869 of the kingH4428 and allH3605 the assemblyH6951. 5So they establishedH5975 a decreeH1697 to circulateH5674 a 5proclamationH6963 throughoutH3605 IsraelH3478 6from BeershebaH884 to DanH1835, that they are to comeH935 to celebrateH6213 the PassoverH6453 to the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 in JerusalemH3389. For they had not celebratedH6213 it in greatH7230 numbersH7230 as was writtenH3789. 67The 8couriersH7323 wentH1980 throughoutH3605 IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063 with the lettersH107 from the handH3027 of the kingH4428 and his princesH8269, even according to the commandH4687 of the kingH4428, sayingH559, “SonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, returnH7725 to the LordH3068 GodH430 of AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327, and IsraelH3478, that He may returnH7725 to those of you whoH6413 escapedH6413 and are leftH7604 from 9the 10handH3709 of the kingsH4428 of AssyriaH804. 711Do not be like your fathersH1 and your brothersH251, whoH834 wereH4603 untrueH4603 to the LordH3068 GodH430 of their fathersH1, so that 12He madeH5414 them an objectH8047 ofH8047 horrorH8047, justH3512 asH3512 you seeH7200. 8NowH6258 do not 13stiffenH7185 your neckH6203 like your fathersH1, but 14yieldH5414H3027 to the LordH3068 and enterH935 His sanctuaryH4720 whichH834 He has consecratedH6942 foreverH5769, and serveH5647 the LordH3068 your GodH430, 15that His burningH2740 angerH639 may turnH7725 awayH7725 from you. 9For 16if you returnH7725 to the LordH3068, your brothersH251 and your sonsH1121 will find compassionH7356 in the presenceH6440 of those who ledH7617 them captiveH7617, and will returnH7725 to thisH2088 landH776. 17For the LordH3068 your GodH430 is graciousH2587 and compassionateH7349, and will not turnH5493 His faceH6440 awayH5493 from you ifH518 you returnH7725 to Him.”
