1 Thessalonians 2:13-16

13For thisG3778 reasonG1223 we alsoG2532 constantlyG89 1thankG2168 GodG2316 that when you receivedG3880 the 2wordG3056 of GodG2316 whichG3739 you heardG191 from us, you acceptedG1209 it 3not as the wordG3056 of mere menG444, but asG2531 whatG2531 it reallyG230 is, the wordG3056 of GodG2316, 4whichG3739 alsoG2532 isG1754 atG1754 workG1754 in you who believeG4100. 14For you, brothersG80 and sisters, becameG1096 5imitatorsG3402 of 6the churchesG1577 of GodG2316 in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 that are 7in JudeaG2449, for 8you alsoG2532 enduredG3958 the sameG846 sufferingsG3958 atG5259 the handsG5259 of your ownG2398 countrymenG4853, 9evenG2531 as they did from the JewsG2453, 15 10who bothG2532 killedG615 the LordG2962 JesusG2424 and 11the prophetsG4396, and 12droveG1559 us outG1559. 13They are not pleasingG700 to GodG2316, 14but hostileG1727 to allG3956 peopleG444, 16 15hinderingG2967 us from speakingG2980 to the GentilesG1484 16soG2443 thatG2443 they may be savedG4982; with the resultG1519 that they alwaysG3842 17 18reachG378 theG378 limitG378 of their sinsG266. But 19wrathG3709 has comeG5348 upon them 20fullyG5056.
