God Will Bless Judah and Ephraim

1Askשַׁאֲל֨וּsha.'a.LuH7592forrainמָטָר֙ma.TarH4306from the Lordמֵיְהוָ֤הme.Yah.wehH3068at the timeבְּעֵ֣תbe.'EtH6256of the springמַלְק֔וֹשׁmal.Ko.oshH4456rainH4456--The Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068whomakesעֹשֶׂ֣ה'o.SehH6213thestormH2385windsH2385;And He will giveיִתֵּ֣ןyi.TenH5414themshowersוּמְטַר־u.me.tar-H4306of rainגֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ge.shemH1653,vegetationעֵ֥שֶׂב'E.sevH6212in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃ba.sa.DehH7704to eachpersonלְאִ֖ישׁle.'IshH376.

2For thehouseholdH8655idolsH8655speakדִּבְּרוּ־di.be.ru-H1696deceptionאָ֗וֶן'A.venH205, And thedivinersוְהַקּֽוֹסְמִים֙ve.ha.kos.MimH7080seeחָ֣זוּCha.zuH2372an illusionשֶׁ֔קֶרShe.kerH8267And tellיְדַבֵּ֔רוּye.da.Be.ruH1696deceitfulהַשָּׁ֣ואha.Sha.v'H7723dreamsוַֽחֲלֹמוֹת֙va.cha.lo.mOtH2472;They comfortיְנַֽחֵמ֑וּןye.na.che.MunH5162inH1892vainH1892.Thereforeעַל־ כֵּן֙'al- kenH5921 H3651the peoplewanderנָסְע֣וּna.se.'UH5265likeכְמוֹ־khe.mov-H3644sheepצֹ֔אןTzonH6629,They areH6031wretchedH6031becauseH3588thereH369isH369noH369shepherdרֹעֶֽה׃ פro.'EhH7462.

3“Myangerאַפִּ֔י'a.PiH639is kindledחָרָ֣הcha.RahH2734againstH5921the shepherdsהָֽרֹעִים֙ha.ro.'ImH7462,And I will punishאֶפְק֑וֹד'ef.KodH6485themaleH6260goatsH6260;For the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֤וֹתtze.va.'otH6635hasvisitedפָקַד֩fa.KadH6485His flockעֶדְרוֹ֙ed.RoH5739,the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,And will makeוְשָׂ֣םve.SamH7760them like His majesticהוֹד֖וֹho.DoH1935horseכְּס֥וּסke.SusH5483in battleבַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ba.mil.cha.MahH4421.

4Fromthem will comeיֵצֵ֥אye.Tze'H3318thecornerstoneפִנָּה֙fi.NahH6438, Fromthem the tentH3489pegיָתֵ֔דya.TedH3489, Fromthem the bowקֶ֣שֶׁתKe.shetH7198ofbattleמִלְחָמָ֑הmil.cha.MahH4421, Fromthem everyכָל־khol-H3605tyrantנוֹגֵ֖שׂno.GesH5065, all of themtogetherH3164.

5And they will be like warriorsכְגִבֹּרִ֜יםkhe.gi.bo.RimH1368,TramplingH947downH947the enemyin the mudבְּטִ֤יטbe.TitH2916of the streetsחוּצוֹת֙chu.tzOtH2351in battleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֔הba.mil.cha.MahH4421;And they will fightוְנִ֨לְחֲמ֔וּve.Nil.cha.MuH3898,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068will be with them; And theridersרֹכְבֵ֥יro.khe.VeiH7392on horsesסוּסִֽים׃su.SimH5483will be putוְהֹבִ֖ישׁוּve.ho.Vi.shuH954toH954shameH954.

6And I willstrengthenוְגִבַּרְתִּ֣י׀ve.gi.bar.TiH1396the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063, And I willsaveאוֹשִׁ֔יעַ'o.Shi.a'H3467the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Josephיוֹסֵף֙yo.SefH3130, And I willbringH7725them backH7725,BecauseH3588I have hadH7355compassionרִֽחַמְתִּ֔יםri.cham.TimH7355onH7355them;And they will be as thoughH3512I hadnot rejectedזְנַחְתִּ֑יםze.nach.TimH2186them,For I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430and I willanswerוְאֶעֱנֵֽם׃ve.'e.'e.NemH6030them.

7Ephraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669will be like a warriorכְגִבּוֹר֙khe.gi.bOrH1368,And their heartלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820will beH8055joyfulH8055asH3644ifH3644fromwineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196; Indeed, theirchildrenוּבְנֵיהֶם֙u.ve.nei.HemH1121will seeיִרְא֣וּyir.'UH7200itand beH8055joyfulH8055,Their heartלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820will rejoiceיָגֵ֥לya.GelH1523in the Lordבַּיהוָֽה׃ba.Yah.wehH3068.

8I willwhistleאֶשְׁרְקָ֥ה'esh.re.KahH8319for them and gatherוַאֲקַבְּצֵ֖םva.'a.ka.be.TzemH6908them together,For I have redeemedפְדִיתִ֑יםfe.di.TimH6299them;And they will beוְרָב֖וּve.ra.VuH7235asnumerousרָבֽוּ׃ra.VuH7235as they were before.

9When Iscatterוְאֶזְרָעֵם֙ve.'ez.ra.'EmH2232them among the peoplesבָּֽעַמִּ֔יםba.'a.MimH5971, They willrememberיִזְכְּר֑וּנִיyiz.ke.Ru.niH2142Me in distantוּבַמֶּרְחַקִּ֖יםu.vam.mer.cha.KimH4801countriesH4801,And they with their childrenבְּנֵיהֶ֖םbe.nei.HemH1121will liveוְחָי֥וּve.cha.YuH2421and comeH7725backH7725.

10I willbringוַהֲשִֽׁיבוֹתִים֙va.ha.shi.vo.TimH7725them backH7725from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714And gatherאֲקַבְּצֵ֑ם'a.ka.be.TzemH6908them from Assyriaוּמֵֽאַשּׁ֖וּרu.me.'a.ShurH804;And I will bringאֲבִיאֵ֔ם'a.vi.'EmH935them into the landאֶ֨רֶץ'E.retzH776ofGileadגִּלְעָ֤דgil.'AdH1568and Lebanonוּלְבָנוֹן֙u.le.va.nOnH3844Untilnoוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808roomcan be foundיִמָּצֵ֖אyi.ma.Tze'H4672for them.

11And they will passוְעָבַ֨רve.'a.VarH5674through theseaבַּיָּ֜םbai.YamH3220of distressצָרָ֗הtza.RahH6869And He will strikeוְהִכָּ֤הve.hi.KahH5221the wavesגַּלִּ֔יםga.LimH1530in the seaבַיָּם֙vai.YamH3220,So that allכֹּ֖לkolH3605the depthsמְצוּל֣וֹתme.tzu.LotH4688of theNileיְאֹ֑רye.'OrH2975will dryוְהֹבִ֕ישׁוּve.ho.Vi.shuH3001upH3001;And the prideגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347ofAssyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804will be broughtH3381downוְהוּרַד֙ve.hu.RadH3381,And the scepterוְשֵׁ֥בֶטve.She.vetH7626ofEgyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714will departיָסֽוּר׃ya.SurH5493.

12And I willstrengthenוְגִבַּרְתִּים֙ve.gi.bar.TimH1396them in the Lordבַּֽיהוָ֔הba.Yah.wehH3068,And in His nameוּבִשְׁמ֖וֹu.vish.MoH8034they will walkיִתְהַלָּ֑כוּyit.ha.La.khuH1980,”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.
