The Golden Lampstand and the Olive Trees

1Thenthe angelהַמַּלְאָ֖ךְha.mal.'AkhH4397who had been speakingהַדֹּבֵ֣רha.do.VerH1696with me returnedוַיָּ֕שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725andwokeוַיְעִירֵ֕נִיvay.'i.Re.niH5782me, like a personכְּאִ֖ישׁke.'IshH376whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834is awakenedיֵע֥וֹרye.'orH5782from his sleepמִשְּׁנָתֽוֹ׃mi.she.na.ToH8142.

2And he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Whatמָ֥הmahH4100do you seeרֹאֶ֑הro.'EhH7200?”And I saidוָאֹמַ֡רvai.yo.merH559, “I seeרָאִ֣יתִי׀ra.'I.tiH7200,and beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009, alampstandמְנוֹרַת֩me.no.RatH4501allכֻּלָּ֜הּku.LahH3605of goldזָהָ֨בza.HavH2091with its bowlוְגֻלָּ֣הּve.gu.LahH1543on the topרֹאשָׁ֗הּro.ShahH7218of it, and itssevenH7651lampsנֵרֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ne.ro.Tei.haH5216on it with sevenH7651spoutsמֽוּצָק֔וֹתmu.tza.KotH4166belonging to each ofthe lampsלַנֵּר֖וֹתla.ne.RotH5216whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834are on the topרֹאשָֽׁהּ׃ro.ShahH7218of it;

3alsotwoוּשְׁנַ֥יִםu.she.Na.yimH8147oliveזֵיתִ֖יםzei.TimH2132treesH2132by it, oneאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259on the rightמִימִ֣יןmi.MinH3225sideH3225of the bowlהַגֻּלָּ֔הha.gu.LahH1543and the otherוְאֶחָ֖דve.'e.ChadH259on its leftH8040sideשְׂמֹאלָֽהּ׃se.mo.LahH8040.”

4Then I saidוָֽאֹמַ֔רva.'o.MarH559to the angelהַמַּלְאָ֛ךְha.mal.'AkhH4397who was speakingהַדֹּבֵ֥רha.do.VerH1696with me, sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Whatמָה־mah-H4100are theseאֵ֖לֶּה'E.lehH428,my lordאֲדֹנִֽי׃'a.do.NiH113?”

5Sothe angelהַמַּלְאָ֞ךְha.mal.'AkhH4397who was speakingהַדֹּבֵ֥רha.do.VerH1696with me answeredוַ֠יַּעַןVai.ya.'anH6030and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Do you not knowיָדַ֖עְתָּya.Da'.taH3045whatמָה־mah-H4100theseאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428are?” And I saidוָאֹמַ֖רva.'o.MarH559, “NoH3808,my lordאֲדֹנִֽי׃'a.do.NiH113.”

6Then he saidH559tome, “Thisזֶ֚הzehH2088is the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068toZerubbabelזְרֻבָּבֶ֖לze.ru.ba.VelH2216,sayingH559, ‘Not by mightבְחַ֙יִל֙ve.Cha.yilH2428norH3808by powerבְכֹ֔חַve.Kho.achH3581, but by MySpiritבְּרוּחִ֔יbe.ru.ChiH7307,’saysH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

7‘Whatמִֽי־mi-H4310are you, you greatהַגָּד֛וֹלha.ga.DolH1419mountainהַֽר־har-H2022?Beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Zerubbabelזְרֻבָּבֶ֖לze.ru.ba.VelH2216you will becomea plainלְמִישֹׁ֑רle.mi.ShorH4334;and he will bringוְהוֹצִיא֙ve.ho.Tzi'H3318outH3318the topהָרֹאשָׁ֔הha.ro.ShahH7222stoneהָאֶ֣בֶןha.'E.venH68withshoutsתְּשֻׁא֕וֹתte.shu.'otH8663of “Graceחֵ֥ןchenH2580,graceחֵ֖ןchenH2580to it!”’”

8Also the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068cameוַיְהִ֥יvay.HiH1961to me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

9“The handsיְדֵ֣יye.DeiH3027of Zerubbabelזְרֻבָּבֶ֗לze.ru.ba.VelH2216havelaidH3245the foundationH3245of thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088houseהַבַּ֥יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,and his handsוְיָדָ֣יוve.ya.DavH3027willfinishתְּבַצַּ֑עְנָהte.va.Tza'.nahH1214it.Then you will knowוְיָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ve.Ya.da'.taH3045that the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635has sentשְׁלָחַ֥נִיshe.la.Cha.niH7971me to you.

10For whoמִ֣יmiH4310has shownH936contemptH936for the dayלְי֣וֹםle.YomH3117ofsmallקְטַנּוֹת֒ke.ta.nOtH6996thingsH6996?But theseאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428sevenשִׁבְעָה־shiv.'ah-H7651will rejoiceוְשָׂמְח֗וּve.sa.me.ChuH8055when they seeוְרָא֞וּve.ra.'UH7200theplumbH913 H68lineH68 H913in the handבְּיַ֥דbe.YadH3027of Zerubbabelזְרֻבָּבֶ֖לze.ru.ba.VelH2216--they are theeyesעֵינֵ֣י'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068roamingמְשׁוֹטְטִ֖יםme.sho.TimH7751throughoutבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.”

11Then I saidוָאֹמַ֣רva.'o.MarH559to him, “Whatמַה־mah-H4100are theseהָאֵ֔לֶהha.'E.lehH428twoשְּׁנֵ֤יshe.NeiH8147oliveהַזֵּיתִים֙ha.zei.TimH2132treesH2132on the rightיְמִ֥יןye.MinH3225of the lampstandהַמְּנוֹרָ֖הha.me.no.RahH4501and on its leftשְׂמֹאולָֽהּ׃se.mo.LahH8040?”

12And I respondedוָאַ֣עַןva.'A.'anH6030the secondשֵׁנִ֔יתshe.NitH8145timeH8145and saidוָאֹמַ֖רva.'o.MarH559to him, “Whatמַה־mah-H4100are the twoשְׁתֵּ֞יshe.TeiH8147oliveהַזֵּיתִ֗יםha.zei.TimH2132branchesשִׁבֲּלֵ֣יshi.ba.LeiH7641whichאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834are besideבְּיַ֗דbe.YadH3027the twoשְׁנֵי֙she.NeiH8147goldenהַזָּהָ֔בha.za.HavH2091pipesצַנְתְּר֣וֹתtzan.te.RotH6804,which emptyH7385the goldenהַזָּהָֽב׃ha.za.HavH2091oil from themselves?”

13So he answeredוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559me, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Do you not knowיָדַ֖עְתָּya.Da'.taH3045whatמָה־mah-H4100theseאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428are?” And I saidוָאֹמַ֖רva.'o.MarH559, “NoH3808,my lordאֲדֹנִֽי׃'a.do.NiH113.”

14Then he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Theseאֵ֖לֶּה'E.lehH428are the twoשְׁנֵ֣יshe.NeiH8147anointedהַיִּצְהָ֑רhai.yitz.HarH1121 H3323onesH1121, who arestandingהָעֹמְדִ֖יםha.'o.me.DimH5975by theLordH136of the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.”
