4Out of him cameforthיֵצֵ֥אye.Tze'H3318thecornerפִנָּה֙fi.NahH6438, out of him thenailיָתֵ֔דya.TedH3489, out of him thebattleמִלְחָמָ֑הmil.cha.MahH4421bowקֶ֣שֶׁתKe.shetH7198, out of him everyoppressorנוֹגֵ֖שׂno.GesH5065togetherיַחְדָּֽו׃yach.DavH3162.

5And they shall be asmightyכְגִבֹּרִ֜יםkhe.gi.bo.RimH1368men, who treaddownבּוֹסִ֨יםbo.SimH947their enemies in themireבְּטִ֤יטbe.TitH2916of thestreetsחוּצוֹת֙chu.tzOtH2351in thebattleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֔הba.mil.cha.MahH4421: and they shallfightוְנִ֨לְחֲמ֔וּve.Nil.cha.MuH3898, because theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068is with them, and theridersרֹכְבֵ֥יro.khe.VeiH7392onhorsesסוּסִֽים׃su.SimH5483shall beconfoundedH3001.

6And I willstrengthenוְגִבַּרְתִּ֣י׀ve.gi.bar.TiH1396thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofJudahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063, and I willsaveאוֹשִׁ֔יעַ'o.Shi.a'H3467thehouseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004ofJosephיוֹסֵף֙yo.SefH3130, and I will bring them again toplaceH3427them; for I havemercyרִֽחַמְתִּ֔יםri.cham.TimH7355upon them: and they shall be asthoughכַּאֲשֶׁ֣רka.'a.SherH834I had not cast themoffזְנַחְתִּ֑יםze.nach.TimH2186: for I am theLORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068theirGodאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430, and willhearוְאֶעֱנֵֽם׃ve.'e.'e.NemH6030them.

7And they ofEphraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669shall be like amightyכְגִבּוֹר֙khe.gi.bOrH1368man, and theirheartלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820shallrejoiceוְשָׂמַ֥חve.sa.MachH8055as throughwineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196: yea, theirchildrenוּבְנֵיהֶם֙u.ve.nei.HemH1121shallseeיִרְא֣וּyir.'UH7200it, and begladוְשָׂמֵ֔חוּve.sa.Me.chuH8055; theirheartלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820shallrejoiceיָגֵ֥לya.GelH1523in theLORDבַּיהוָֽה׃ba.Yah.wehH3068.

8I willhissאֶשְׁרְקָ֥ה'esh.re.KahH8319for them, andgatherוַאֲקַבְּצֵ֖םva.'a.ka.be.TzemH6908them; for I haveredeemedפְדִיתִ֑יםfe.di.TimH6299them: and they shallincreaseוְרָב֖וּve.ra.VuH7235as they haveincreasedרָבֽוּ׃ra.VuH7235.

9And I willsowוְאֶזְרָעֵם֙ve.'ez.ra.'EmH2232them among thepeopleבָּֽעַמִּ֔יםba.'a.MimH5971: and they shallrememberיִזְכְּר֑וּנִיyiz.ke.Ru.niH2142me in farcountriesוּבַמֶּרְחַקִּ֖יםu.vam.mer.cha.KimH4801; and they shallliveוְחָי֥וּve.cha.YuH2421with theirchildrenבְּנֵיהֶ֖םbe.nei.HemH1121, and turnagainוָשָֽׁבוּ׃va.Sha.vuH7725.

10I will bring themagainוַהֲשִֽׁיבוֹתִים֙va.ha.shi.vo.TimH7725also out of thelandמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776ofEgyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, andgatherאֲקַבְּצֵ֑ם'a.ka.be.TzemH6908them out ofAssyriaוּמֵֽאַשּׁ֖וּרu.me.'a.ShurH804; and I willbringאֲבִיאֵ֔ם'a.vi.'EmH935them into thelandאֶ֨רֶץ'E.retzH776ofGileadגִּלְעָ֤דgil.'AdH1568andLebanonוּלְבָנוֹן֙u.le.va.nOnH3844; and place shall not befoundיִמָּצֵ֖אyi.ma.Tze'H4672for them.
