3So I gaveוָאֶתְּנָ֣הva.'e.te.NahH5414myattentionפָּנַ֗יpa.NaiH6440to the Lordאֲדֹנָי֙'a.do.NaiH136Godהָֽאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,to seekלְבַקֵּ֥שׁle.va.KeshH1245Him byprayerתְּפִלָּ֖הte.fi.LahH8605and pleadingוְתַחֲנוּנִ֑יםve.ta.cha.nu.NimH8469,with fastingבְּצ֖וֹםbe.TzomH6685,sackclothוְשַׂ֥קve.SakH8242,and ashesוָאֵֽפֶר׃va.'E.ferH665.

23At thebeginningבִּתְחִלַּ֨תbit.chi.LatH8462of your pleasתַּחֲנוּנֶ֜יךָta.cha.nu.Nei.khaH8469thecommandדָבָ֗רda.VarH1697was issuedיָצָ֣אya.Tza'H3318,and I have comeבָּ֣אתִיBa.tiH935to tellלְהַגִּ֔ידle.ha.GidH5046you,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588you arehighlyH2536esteemedH2536;so payH995attentionH995to the messageבַּדָּבָ֔רba.da.VarH1697and gainH995understandingH995of the visionבַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃ba.mar.'EhH4758.
