15“And nowH6258, LordH136, our GodH430, You whoH834 36broughtH3318 Your peopleH5971 outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 with a mightyH2389 handH3027 and 37madeH6213 a nameH8034 for Yourself, as it is thisH2088 dayH3117--we have sinnedH2398, we have beenH7561 wickedH7561. 16LordH136, in accordance with allH3605 Your 38righteousH6666 actsH6666, let nowH4994 Your 39angerH639 and Your wrathH2534 turnH7725 awayH7725 from Your cityH5892 JerusalemH3389, Your 40holyH6944 mountainH2022; for because of our sinsH2399 and the wrongdoingsH5771 of our fathersH1, JerusalemH3389 and Your peopleH5971 have become an 41objectH2781 ofH2781 tauntingH2781 to allH3605 those aroundH5439 us. 17So nowH6258, our GodH430, listenH8085 to the prayerH8605 of Your servantH5650 and to his pleasH8469, and for 42Your sakeH4616, LordH136, 43let Your faceH6440 shineH215 on Your 44desolateH8076 sanctuaryH4720. 18My GodH430, 45inclineH5186 Your earH241 and hearH8085! 20While I was stillH5750 52speakingH1696 and prayingH6419, and 53confessingH3034 my sinH2403 and the sinH2403 of my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478, and 54presentingH5307 my pleaH8467 beforeH6440 the LordH3068 my GodH430 inH5921 behalfH5921 ofH5921 the holyH6944 mountainH2022 of my GodH430, 21while I was stillH5750 speakingH1696 in prayerH8605, the manH376 55GabrielH1403, whomH834 I had seenH7200 in the visionH2377 56previouslyH8462, 57cameH5060 to me 58in my extremeH3286 wearinessH3288 about the timeH6256 of the 59eveningH6153 offeringH4503. 22And he instructedH995 me and talkedH1696 with me and saidH559, “DanielH1840, I have comeH3318 nowH6258 to giveH7919 you insightH7919 with 60understandingH998. 23At the 61beginningH8462 of your pleasH8469 the 62commandH1697 was issuedH3318, and I have comeH935 to tellH5046 you, becauseH3588 you are 6364highlyH2536 esteemedH2536; so payH995 attentionH995 to the messageH1697 and gainH995 65understandingH995 of the visionH4758.

Seventy Weeks and the Messiah

24“SeventyH7657 6667weeksH7620 have been decreedH2852 for your peopleH5971 and your holyH6944 cityH5892, to 68finishH3615 the wrongdoingH6588, to 69makeH8552 anH8552 endH8552 ofH8552 sinH2403, to 70makeH3722 atonementH3722 for guiltH5771, to bringH935 inH935 71everlastingH5769 righteousnessH6664, to sealH2856 upH2856 visionH2377 and 72prophecyH5030, and to anointH4886 the MostH6944 HolyH6944 PlaceH6944. 25So you are to knowH3045 and understandH7919 that from the issuingH4161 of a 7374decreeH1697 to restoreH7725 and rebuildH1129 JerusalemH3389, untilH5704 7576MessiahH4899 the 77PrinceH5057, there will be sevenH7655 weeksH7620 and sixty-twoH8346H8147 weeksH7620; it will be builtH1129 againH7725, with 78streetsH7339 and moatH2742, even in timesH6256 of distressH6695. 26Then afterH310 the sixty-twoH8346H8147 weeksH7620, the 79MessiahH4899 will be 80cutH3772 offH3772 and haveH369 81nothingH369, and the peopleH5971 of the princeH5057 who is to comeH935 will 82destroyH7843 the cityH5892 and the sanctuaryH6944. And 83its endH7093 will come with a 84floodH7858; even to the endH7093 85there will be warH4421; desolationsH8074 are determinedH2782. 27And he will confirmH1396 a covenantH1285 with the manyH7227 for oneH259 weekH7620, but in the middleH2677 of the weekH7620 he will putH7673 aH7673 stopH7673 toH7673 sacrificeH2077 and grain offeringH4503; and on the wingH3671 of 8687abominationsH8251 will come the one who 88makesH8074 desolateH8074, untilH5704 a 89completeH3617 destructionH3617, one that is 90decreedH2782, gushesH5413 forthH5413 on the one who 91makesH8074 desolateH8074.”
