6Now he wentH3318outH3318andfoughtוַיִּלָּ֣חֶםvai.yi.La.chemH3898against the Philistinesבַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםba.pe.lish.TimH6430,and brokeH6555downH6555the wallח֣וֹמַתCho.matH2346of Gathגַּ֗תGatH1661,the wallחוֹמַ֣תcho.MatH2346of Jabnehיַבְנֵ֔הyav.NehH2996,and the wallחוֹמַ֣תcho.MatH2346of Ashdodאַשְׁדּ֑וֹד'ash.DodH795;and he builtוַיִּבְנֶ֣הvai.yiv.NehH1129citiesעָרִ֔ים'a.RimH5892in the area ofAshdodבְּאַשְׁדּ֖וֹדbe.'ash.DodH795and among the Philistinesוּבַפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃u.va.pe.lish.TimH6430.
7Godהָֽאֱלֹהִ֜יםha.'E.lo.HimH430helpedוַיַּעְזְרֵ֨הוּvai.ya'.ze.Re.huH5826him againstעַל־'al-H5921the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֧יםpe.lish.TimH6430,and againstוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the Arabiansהָֽעַרְבִ֛יםha.'ar.vi.yimH6163who livedהַיֹּשְׁבִ֥יםhai.yo.she.VimH3427in Gur-baalH1485,and the Meunitesוְהַמְּעוּנִֽים׃ve.ha.me.'u.NimH4586.
8The Ammonitesהָֽעַמּוֹנִ֛יםha.'a.mo.NimH5984gaveוַיִּתְּנ֧וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414tributeמִנְחָ֖הmin.ChahH4503to Uzziahלְעֻזִּיָּ֑הוּle.'u.zi.Ya.huH5818, and hisfameשְׁמוֹ֙she.MoH8034extendedוַיֵּ֤לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980to the borderלְב֣וֹאle.Vo'H935of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,for he becameH2388veryלְמָֽעְלָה׃le.Ma.'e.lahH4605strongH2388.

10He also builtוַיִּ֨בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129towersמִגְדָּלִ֜יםmig.da.LimH4026in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֗רba.mid.BarH4057andcarvedH2672outH2672manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227cisternsבֹּר֣וֹתbo.RotH953,for he hadH1961muchרַּב֙ravH7227livestockמִקְנֶה־mik.neh-H4735, both in thelowlandוּבַשְּׁפֵלָ֖הu.va.she.fe.LahH8219and in the plainוּבַמִּישׁ֑וֹרu.va.mi.ShorH4334. He also hadplowmenאִכָּרִ֣ים'i.ka.RimH406and vinedressersוְכֹֽרְמִ֗יםve.kho.re.MimH3755in the hillH2022countryH2022and the fertileH3759fieldsH3759,for he lovedאֹהֵ֥ב'o.HevH157the soilאֲדָמָ֖ה'a.da.MahH127.
