Hebrews 9:13-17
13For ifG1487 1the bloodG129 of goatsG5131 and bullsG5022 and 2the ashesG4700 of a heiferG1151 sprinklingG4472 thoseG3588 who have been defiledG2840 sanctifyG37 for the 3cleansingG2514 of the fleshG4561, 14howG4214 muchG4214 moreG3123 will 4the bloodG129 of ChristG5547, whoG3739 throughG1223 56the eternalG166 SpiritG4151 7offeredG4374 HimselfG1438 withoutG299 blemishG299 to GodG2316, 8cleanseG2511 9your conscienceG4893 from 10deadG3498 worksG2041 to serveG3000 11the livingG2198 GodG2316?
15For thisG3778 reasonG1223 12He is the 13mediatorG3316 of a 14newG2537 covenantG1242, soG3704 that, since a deathG2288 has takenG1096 placeG1096 for the redemptionG629 of the transgressionsG3847 that were committed underG1909 the firstG4413 covenantG1242, thoseG3588 who have been 15calledG2564 may 16receiveG2983 the promiseG1860 of 17the eternalG166 inheritanceG2817. 16For whereG3699 a 18covenantG1242 is, there must of necessityG318 19be the deathG2288 of the one who madeG1303 it. 17For a 20covenantG1242 is validG949 only when 21men are deadG3498, 22for it is neverG3379 in forceG2480 whileG3753 the one who madeG1303 it livesG2198.
