Deuteronomy 29:25-29
25Then men will sayH559, ‘1BecauseH5921H834 they forsookH5800 the covenantH1285 of the LordH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1, whichH834 He madeH3772 with them when He broughtH3318 them out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 26They wentH1980 and servedH5647 otherH312 godsH430 and worshipedH7812 them, godsH430 whomH834 they have not knownH3045 and whom He had not 2allottedH2505 to them. 27Therefore, the angerH639 of the LordH3068 burnedH2734 against that landH776, 3to bringH935 upon it everyH3605 curseH7045 which is writtenH3789 in thisH2088 bookH5612; 28and 4the LordH3068 uprootedH5428 them from their landH127 in angerH639 and in furyH2534 and in greatH1419 wrathH7110, and castH7993 them into anotherH312 landH776, as it is thisH2088 dayH3117.’
29“5The secretH5641 thingsH5641 belong to the LordH3068 our GodH430, but 6the thingsH1540 revealedH1540 belong to us and to our sonsH1121 foreverH5704H5769, that we may observeH6213 allH3605 the wordsH1697 of thisH2088 lawH8451.
