25And there was a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444in JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419whoseᾧhōG3739nameὄνομαonomaG3686was SimeonΣυμεὼνSumeōnG4826;and thisοὗτοςhoutosG3778manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444wasrighteousδίκαιοςdikaiosG1342and devoutεὐλαβὴςeulabēsG2126,lookingπροσδεχόμενοςprosdechomenosG4327for the consolationπαράκλησινparaklēsinG3874of IsraelἸσραήλ·IsraēlG2474;and the HolyἅγιονhagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151was upon him.

27And he cameἦλθενēlthenG2064in the SpiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151into the templeG2413;and whenG1722the parentsγονεῖςgoneisG1118broughtεἰσαγαγεῖνeisagageinG1521in the childπαιδίονpaidionG3813JesusἸησοῦνIēsounG2424,to carryποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160out for Him the customεἰθισμένονeithismenonG1480of the LawνόμουnomouG3551,

28thenG2532he tookἐδέξατοedexatoG1209Him into his armsἀγκάλαςagkalasG43,and blessedεὐλόγησενeulogēsenG2127GodθεὸνtheonG2316,and saidG3004,

29“NowνῦνnunG3568Lordδέσποτα,despotaG1203,You are releasingG630Your bond-servantδοῦλόνdoulonG1401to departG630in peaceεἰρήνῃeirēnēG1515,AccordingκατὰkataG2596to Your wordῥῆμάrhēmaG4487;

30For my eyesὀφθαλμοίophthalmoiG3788haveseenG3708Your salvationσωτήριόνsōtērionG4992,

31WhichὃhoG3739You have preparedἡτοίμασαςhētoimasasG2090in the presenceπρόσωπονprosōponG4383of allπάντωνpantōnG3956peoplesλαῶν,laōnG2992,

32A LightφῶςphōsG5457of revelationἀποκάλυψινapokalupsinG602to the GentilesἐθνῶνethnōnG1484,And the gloryδόξανdoxanG1391of Your peopleλαοῦlaouG2992IsraelἸσραήλ.¶IsraēlG2474.”
