7and saidG3004to him,“GoὕπαγεhupageG5217,washνίψαιnipsaiG3538inthe poolκολυμβήθρανkolumbēthranG2861of SiloamΣιλωάμSilōamG4611” (whichὃhoG3739is translatedἑρμηνεύεταιhermēneuetaiG2059,Sentἀπεσταλμένος.apestalmenosG649).SoοὖνounG3767he wentG565awayG565andwashedἐνίψατοenipsatoG3538, andcameἦλθενēlthenG2064backseeingβλέπων.¶blepōnG991.

8ThereforeοὖνounG3767the neighborsγείτονεςgeitonesG1069,and thoseG3588who previouslyπρότερονproteronG4387sawθεωροῦντεςtheōrountesG2334him as a beggarG4319,were sayingἔλεγον·elegonG3004, “Is not thisοὗτόςhoutosG3778the one who used tositκαθήμενοςkathēmenosG2521and begG4319?”

9OthersἄλλοιalloiG243were sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004, “ThisοὗτόςhoutosG3778is he,” stillothersἄλλοιalloiG243were sayingἔλεγον·elegonG3004, “Noοὐχί,ouchiG3780,but he is likeὅμοιοςhomoiosG3664him.”He kept sayingἔλεγενelegenG3004, “I amG1510the one.”

10SoοὖνounG3767they were sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004to him, “HowπῶςpōsG4459thenοὖνounG3767were your eyesὀφθαλμοί;ophthalmoiG3788openedἠνεῴχθησάνēneōchthēsanG455?”

11He answeredἀπεκρίθηapekrithēG611, “The manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444who is calledG3004JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424madeἐποίησενepoiēsenG4160clayπηλὸνpēlonG4081,and anointedἐπέχρισένepechrisenG2025my eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788,and saidG3004to me,‘GoὕπαγεhupageG5217toSiloamΣιλωὰμSilōamG4611and washνίψαι.nipsaiG3538’;soοὖνounG3767I wentG565awayG565and washedνιψάμενοςnipsamenosG3538,and I receivedG308sightἀνέβλεψα.aneblepsaG308.”
