2Godאֱלֹהִ֤ים׀'E.lo.HimH430spokeוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙le.Yis.ra.'ElH3478in visionsבְּמַרְאֹ֣תbe.mar.'OtH4759of the nightהַלַּ֔יְלָהha.Lay.lahH3915and saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Jacobיַעֲקֹ֣ב׀ya.'a.KoH3290,Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290.”And he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Hereהִנֵּֽנִי׃hi.Ne.niH2009I am.”

3He saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I am Godהָאֵ֖לha.'ElH410,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of your fatherאָבִ֑יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1;do not be afraidתִּירָא֙ti.Ra'H3372to goH3381downH3381to Egyptמִצְרַ֔יְמָהmitz.Ray.mahH4714, for I willmakeאֲשִֽׂימְךָ֥'a.si.me.KhaH7760you a greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419nationלְג֥וֹיle.GoyH1471thereשָֽׁם׃ShamH8033.

4I will goאֵרֵ֤ד'e.RedH3381downH3381with you to Egyptמִצְרַ֔יְמָהmitz.Ray.mahH4714, andI will alsoגַם־gam-H1571surelyאַֽעַלְךָ֣'a.'al.KhaH5927bringעָלֹ֑ה'a.LohH5927you up againH3254; andJosephוְיוֹסֵ֕ףve.yo.SefH3130willcloseיָשִׁ֥ית יָד֖וֹya.Shit ya.DoH7896 H3027your eyesעֵינֶֽיךָ׃'ei.Nei.khaH5869.”

5Then Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290aroseוַיָּ֥קָםvai.Ya.komH6965from BeershebaH884;and the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478carriedוַיִּשְׂא֨וּvai.yis.'UH5375their fatherאֲבִיהֶ֗ם'a.vi.HemH1Jacobיַעֲקֹ֣בya.'a.KoH3290and their littleטַפָּם֙ta.PamH2945onesH2945and their wivesנְשֵׁיהֶ֔םne.shei.HemH802in thewagonsבָּעֲגָל֕וֹתba.'a.ga.LotH5699whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547had sentשָׁלַ֥חsha.LachH7971to carryלָשֵׂ֥אתla.SetH5375him.

6They tookוַיִּקְח֣וּvai.yik.ChuH3947their livestockמִקְנֵיהֶ֗םmik.nei.HemH4735and their propertyרְכוּשָׁם֙re.khu.ShamH7399,whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834they had acquiredרָֽכְשׁוּ֙ra.khe.ShuH7408in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667, andcameוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to Egyptמִצְרָ֑יְמָהmitz.Ra.ye.mahH4714,Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605hisdescendantsזַרְע֥וֹzar.'OH2233with him:
