1So Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478set outוַיִּסַּ֤עvai.yi.Sa'H5265with allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he had,and when he cameוַיָּבֹ֖אvai.ya.Vo'H935toבְּאֵ֣רָהbe.'E.rahH884Beershebaשָּׁ֑בַעSha.va'H884,he offeredוַיִּזְבַּ֣חvai.yiz.BachH2076sacrificesזְבָחִ֔יםze.va.ChimH2077to the Godלֵאלֹהֵ֖יle.lo.HeiH430of his fatherאָבִ֥יו'a.VivH1Isaacיִצְחָֽק׃yitz.ChakH3327.

2And that nightהַלַּ֔יְלָהha.Lay.lahH3915Godאֱלֹהִ֤ים׀'E.lo.HimH430spokeוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙le.Yis.ra.'ElH3478in a visionבְּמַרְאֹ֣תbe.mar.'OtH4759: “Jacobיַעֲקֹ֣ב׀ya.'a.KoH3290,Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290!”He saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559. “Here I amהִנֵּֽנִי׃hi.Ne.niH2009,”replied Jacobוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559.

3“Iאָנֹכִ֥י'a.no.KhiH595am Godהָאֵ֖לha.'ElH410,”He saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of your fatherאָבִ֑יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1.Do notאַל־'al-H408be afraidתִּירָא֙ti.Ra'H3372to go downמֵרְדָ֣הme.re.DahH3381to Egyptמִצְרַ֔יְמָהmitz.Ray.mahH4714,forכִּֽי־ki-H3588I will makeאֲשִֽׂימְךָ֥'a.si.me.KhaH7760you into a greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419nationלְג֥וֹיle.GoyH1471thereשָֽׁם׃ShamH8033.

4Iאָנֹכִ֗י'a.no.KhiH595will go downאֵרֵ֤ד'e.RedH3381withעִמְּךָ֙'i.me.KhaH5973you to Egyptמִצְרַ֔יְמָהmitz.Ray.mahH4714,and Iוְאָנֹכִ֖יve.'a.no.KhiH595will surelyאַֽעַלְךָ֣ גַם־'a.'al.Kha gam-H1571 H5927bring you backעָלֹ֑ה'a.LohH5927.And Joseph’sוְיוֹסֵ֕ףve.yo.SefH3130own handsיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027will closeיָשִׁ֥ית עַל־ya.Shit 'al-H7896 H5921your eyesעֵינֶֽיךָ׃'ei.Nei.khaH5869.”

5Then Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290departedוַיָּ֥קָםvai.Ya.komH6965fromמִבְּאֵ֣רmi.be.'ErH884Beershebaשָׁ֑בַעSha.va'H884,and the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478אֶת־'et-H853tookוַיִּשְׂא֨וּvai.yis.'UH5375their fatherאֲבִיהֶ֗ם'a.vi.HemH1וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853Jacobיַעֲקֹ֣בya.'a.KoH3290in the wagonsבָּעֲגָל֕וֹתba.'a.ga.LotH5699אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547had sentשָׁלַ֥חsha.LachH7971to carry himלָשֵׂ֥אתla.SetH5375וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,along with their childrenטַפָּם֙ta.PamH2945אֹתֽוֹ׃'o.ToH853and wivesנְשֵׁיהֶ֔םne.shei.HemH802.

6They also tookוַיִּקְח֣וּvai.yik.ChuH3947אֶת־'et-H853the livestockמִקְנֵיהֶ֗םmik.nei.HemH4735וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and possessionsרְכוּשָׁם֙re.khu.ShamH7399אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834they had acquiredרָֽכְשׁוּ֙ra.khe.ShuH7408in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667,and Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605his offspringזַרְע֥וֹzar.'OH2233wentוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935אִתּֽוֹ׃'i.ToH854to Egyptמִצְרָ֑יְמָהmitz.Ra.ye.mahH4714.
