Lamentations 5:6-12
We have givenH5414 the handH3027 to EgyptH4713, [and] to AsshurH804, to be satisfiedH7646 with breadH3899.
Our fathersH1 have sinnedH2398, [and] they are not; and we bear their iniquitiesH5771.
Bondmen ruleH4910 over us: there is no deliverer out of their handH3027.
We have to get our breadH3899 at the risk of our livesH5315, because of the swordH2719 of the wildernessH4057.
Our skinH5785 gloweth like an ovenH8574, because of the burningH2152 heatH2152 of the famineH7458.
They have ravished the womenH802 in ZionH6726, the maids in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063.
PrincesH8269 were hangedH8518 up by their handH3027; the facesH6440 of eldersH2205 were not honoured.
