Numbers 32:7-15

7WhyH4100 are you discouragingH5106 the IsraelitesH1121H3478 from crossingH5674 intoH413 the landH776 thatH834 the LORDH3068 has givenH5414 them? 8This is whatH3541 your fathersH1 didH6213 when I sentH7971 themH6947 from Kadesh-barneaH6947 to inspectH7200 the landH776.

9For when your fathers went upH5927 toH5704 the ValleyH5158 of EshcolH812 and sawH7200 the landH776, they discouragedH5106 the IsraelitesH1121H3478 fromH1115 enteringH935H413 the landH776 thatH834 the LORDH3068 had givenH5414 them. 10So the angerH639 of the LORDH3068 was kindledH2734 thatH1931 dayH3117, and He swore an oathH7650, sayingH559, 11‘BecauseH3588 they did notH3808 follow MeH310 wholeheartedlyH4390, not oneH518 of the menH582 twentyH6242 years of ageH1121H8141 or olderH4605 who cameH5927 out of EgyptH4714 will seeH7200 the landH127 thatH834 I sworeH7650 to give AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327, and JacobH3290— 12not one exceptH1115 CalebH3612 sonH1121 of JephunnehH3312 the KenizziteH7074 and JoshuaH3091 sonH1121 of NunH5126—becauseH3588 they did followH310 the LORDH3068 wholeheartedlyH4390.’ 13The angerH639 of the LORDH3068 burnedH2734 against IsraelH3478, and He made them wanderH5128 in the wildernessH4057 fortyH705 yearsH8141, untilH5704 the wholeH3605 generationH1755 who had doneH6213 evilH7451 inH3068 His sightH5869 was goneH8552.

14Now beholdH2009, you, a broodH8635 of sinnersH2400, have risen upH6965 in placeH8478 of your fathersH1 to furtherH5750 stokeH5595H5921 the burningH2740 angerH639 of the LORDH3068 againstH413 IsraelH3478. 15For ifH3588 you turn awayH7725 from following HimH310, He will once againH3254H5750 leaveH5117 thisH2088 peopleH5971 in the wildernessH4057, and you will be the cause of their destructionH7843H3605.”
