1Listenשִׁמְע֤וּshim.'UH8085to Meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413,O islandsאִיִּים֙'i.YimH339;pay attentionוְהַקְשִׁ֥יבוּve.hak.Shi.vuH7181,O distantמֵרָח֑וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350peoplesלְאֻמִּ֖יםle.'u.MimH3816:The LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068called Meקְרָאָ֔נִיke.ra.'A.niH7121from the wombמִבֶּ֣טֶןmi.Be.tenH990;from the bodyמִמְּעֵ֥יmi.me.'EiH4578of My motherאִמִּ֖י'i.MiH517He named Meהִזְכִּ֥יר שְׁמִֽי׃hiz.Kir she.MiH2142 H8034.

2He madeוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760My mouthפִּי֙piH6310like a sharpחַדָּ֔הcha.DahH2299swordכְּחֶ֣רֶבke.Che.revH2719;He hid Meהֶחְבִּיאָ֑נִיhech.bi.'A.niH2244in the shadowבְּצֵ֥לbe.TzelH6738of His handיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027.He made Meוַיְשִׂימֵ֙נִי֙vay.si.Me.niH7760like a polishedבָּר֔וּרba.RurH1305arrowלְחֵ֣ץle.ChetzH2671;He hid Meהִסְתִּירָֽנִי׃his.ti.Ra.niH5641in His quiverבְּאַשְׁפָּת֖וֹbe.'ash.pa.ToH827.

3He saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Me, “Youאָ֑תָּה'A.tahH859are My Servantעַבְדִּי־'av.di-H5650,Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֕לYis.ra.'ElH3478,in whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I will display My gloryאֶתְפָּאָֽר׃'et.pa.'ArH6286.”

4But Iוַאֲנִ֤יva.'a.NiH589saidאָמַ֙רְתִּי֙'a.Mar.tiH559, “I have laboredיָגַ֔עְתִּיya.Ga'.tiH3021in vainלְרִ֣יקle.RikH7385,I have spentכִלֵּ֑יתִיkhi.Lei.tiH3615My strengthכֹּחִ֣יko.ChiH3581in futilityלְתֹ֥הוּle.To.huH8414and vanityוְהֶ֖בֶלve.He.velH1892;yetאָכֵן֙'a.KhenH403My vindicationמִשְׁפָּטִ֣יmish.pa.TiH4941is withאֶת־'et-H854the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and My rewardוּפְעֻלָּתִ֖יu.fe.'u.la.TiH6468is withאֶת־'et-H854My Godאֱלֹהָֽי׃'e.lo.HaiH430.”

5And nowוְעַתָּ֣ה׀ve.'a.TahH6258saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,who formed Meיֹצְרִ֤יyo.tze.RiH3335from the wombמִבֶּ֙טֶן֙mi.Be.tenH990to be His Servantלְעֶ֣בֶדle.'E.vedH5650,to bring Jacobיַֽעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290backלְשׁוֹבֵ֤בle.sho.VevH7725to Himאֵלָ֔יו'e.LavH413,that Israelוְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478 H3808might be gathered to Himיֵאָסֵ֑ףye.'a.SefH622—for I am honoredוְאֶכָּבֵד֙ve.'e.ka.VedH3513in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and My Godוֵאלֹהַ֖יve.lo.HaiH430isהָיָ֥הha.YahH1961My strengthעֻזִּֽי׃'u.ZiH5797—

6He saysוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559: “It is not enoughנָקֵ֨לna.KelH7043for You to beמִֽהְיוֹתְךָ֥mih.yot.KhaH1961MyServantעֶ֔בֶד'E.vedH5650,to raise upלְהָקִים֙le.ha.KimH6965אֶת־'et-H853the tribesשִׁבְטֵ֣יshiv.TeiH7626of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290,and to restoreלְהָשִׁ֑יבle.ha.ShivH7725the protectedH5336ones of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478.I will also makeוּנְתַתִּ֙יךָ֙u.ne.ta.Ti.khaH5414You a lightלְא֣וֹרle.'orH216for the nationsגּוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471,to bringלִֽהְי֥וֹתlih.YotH1961My salvationיְשׁוּעָתִ֖יye.shu.'a.TiH3444toעַד־'ad-H5704the endsקְצֵ֥הke.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ סha.'A.retzH776.”

7Thusכֹּ֣הkohH3541saysאָֽמַר־'a.mar-H559the LORDיְהוָה֩Yah.wehH3068,the Redeemerגֹּאֵ֨לgo.'ElH1350andHoly Oneקְדוֹשׁ֗וֹke.do.ShoH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478,to Him whoנֶ֜פֶשׁNe.feshH5315was despisedלִבְזֹה־liv.zoh-H959andabhorredלִמְתָ֤עֵֽבlim.Ta.'evH8581by the nationגּוֹי֙goyH1471,to the Servantלְעֶ֣בֶדle.'E.vedH5650of rulersמֹשְׁלִ֔יםmo.she.LimH4910: “Kingsמְלָכִים֙me.la.KhimH4428will see Youיִרְא֣וּyir.'UH7200and riseוָקָ֔מוּva.Ka.muH6965,and princesשָׂרִ֖יםsa.RimH8269will bow downוְיִֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֑וּve.yish.ta.cha.VuH7812,because ofלְמַ֤עַןle.Ma.'anH4616the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is faithfulנֶאֱמָ֔ןne.'e.ManH539,the Holyקְדֹ֥שׁke.DoshH6918One of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,who has chosen Youוַיִּבְחָרֶֽךָּ׃vai.yiv.cha.Re.kaH977.”

8This is whatכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “In the timeבְּעֵ֤תbe.'EtH6256of favorרָצוֹן֙ra.tzOnH7522I will answer Youעֲנִיתִ֔יךָ'a.ni.Ti.khaH6030,and in the dayוּבְי֥וֹםu.ve.YomH3117of salvationיְשׁוּעָ֖הye.shu.'AhH3444I will help Youעֲזַרְתִּ֑יךָ'a.zar.Ti.khaH5826;I will keep Youוְאֶצָּרְךָ֗ve.'e.tza.re.KhaH5341and appoint Youוְאֶתֶּנְךָ֙ve.'e.ten.KhaH5414to be a covenantלִבְרִ֣יתliv.RitH1285for the peopleעָ֔ם'AmH5971,to restoreלְהָקִ֣יםle.ha.KimH6965the landאֶ֔רֶץ'E.retzH776,to apportionלְהַנְחִ֖ילle.han.ChilH5157its desolateשֹׁמֵמֽוֹת׃sho.me.MotH8074inheritancesנְחָל֥וֹתne.cha.LotH5159,

9to sayלֵאמֹ֤רle.MorH559to the prisonersלַֽאֲסוּרִים֙la.'a.su.RimH631, ‘Come outצֵ֔אוּTze.'uH3318,’and to thoseלַאֲשֶׁ֥רla.'a.SherH834in darknessבַּחֹ֖שֶׁךְba.Cho.shekhH2822, ‘Show yourselvesהִגָּל֑וּhi.ga.LuH1540.’They will feedיִרְע֔וּyir.'UH7462alongעַל־'al-H5921the pathwaysדְּרָכִ֣יםde.ra.KhimH1870,and find pastureמַרְעִיתָֽם׃mar.'i.TamH4830on everyוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605barren hillשְׁפָיִ֖יםshe.fa.YimH8205.

10They will notלֹ֤אlo'H3808וְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808hungerיִרְעָ֙בוּ֙yir.'A.vuH7456or thirstיִצְמָ֔אוּyitz.Ma.'uH6770,nor willוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808scorching heatשָׁרָ֖בsha.RavH8273or sunוָשָׁ֑מֶשׁva.Sha.meshH8121beat down on themיַכֵּ֥םya.KemH5221.Forכִּי־ki-H3588He who has compassion on themמְרַחֲמָ֣םme.ra.cha.MamH7355will guide themיְנַהֲגֵ֔םye.na.ha.GemH5090and lead themיְנַהֲלֵֽם׃ye.na.ha.LemH5095besideוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921springsמַבּ֥וּעֵיma.Bu.'eiH4002of waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325.

11I will turnוְשַׂמְתִּ֥יve.sam.TiH7760allכָל־khol-H3605My mountainsהָרַ֖יha.RaiH2022into roadsלַדָּ֑רֶךְla.Da.rekhH1870,and My highwaysוּמְסִלֹּתַ֖יu.me.si.lo.TaiH4546will be raised upיְרֻמֽוּן׃ye.ru.MunH7311.

12Beholdהִנֵּה־hi.neh-H2009,theyאֵ֕לֶּה'E.lehH428will comeיָבֹ֑אוּya.Vo.'uH935from far awayמֵרָח֖וֹק וְהִֽנֵּה־ אֵ֙לֶּה֙me.ra.Chok ve.hi.neh- 'e.lehH7350 H2009 H428,from the northמִצָּפ֣וֹןmi.tza.FonH6828and from the westוּמִיָּ֔םu.mi.YamH3220,and fromוְאֵ֖לֶּהve.'E.lehH428the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Aswanסִינִֽים׃si.NimH5515.”

13Shout for joyרָנּ֤וּra.NuH7442,O heavensשָׁמַ֙יִם֙sha.Ma.yimH8064;rejoiceוְגִ֣ילִיve.Gi.liH1523,O earthאָ֔רֶץ'A.retzH776;break forthוּפִצְח֥וּvuf.tze.chuH6476in songרִנָּ֑הri.NahH7440,O mountainsהָרִ֖יםha.RimH2022!Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068has comfortedנִחַ֤םni.ChamH5162His peopleעַמּ֔וֹa.MoH5971,and He will have compassionיְרַחֵֽם׃ סye.ra.ChemH7355on His afflicted onesוַעֲנִיָּ֖וva.'a.ni.YavH6041.
