41Now the Philistineוַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יvai.Ye.lekh ha.pe.lish.TiH6430 H1980cameהֹלֵ֥ךְho.LekhH1980closerוְקָרֵ֖בve.ka.RevH7131and closer toאֶל־'el-H413Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732,with his shield-bearerוְהָאִ֛ישׁ נֹשֵׂ֥א הַצִּנָּ֖הve.ha.'Ish no.Se' ha.tzi.NahH376 H5375 H6793before himלְפָנָֽיו׃le.fa.NavH6440.

42When the Philistineהַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֛יha.pe.lish.TiH6430lookedוַיַּבֵּ֧טvai.ya.BetH5027and sawוַיִּרְאֶ֥הvai.yir.'EhH7200אֶת־'et-H853Davidדָּוִ֖דda.VidH1732,he despised himוַיִּבְזֵ֑הוּvai.yiv.Ze.huH959becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588he wasהָיָ֣הha.YahH1961just a boyנַ֔עַרNa.'arH5288,ruddyוְאַדְמֹנִ֖יve.'ad.mo.NiH132andעִם־'im-H5973handsomeיְפֵ֥ה מַרְאֶֽה׃ye.Peh mar.'EhH3303 H4758.
