Matthew 6:16-18
16Moreover whenG3752 ye fastG3522, be not, as the hypocritesG5273, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their facesG4383, that they may be seen of menG444 to fastG3522. Verily I sayG3004 unto you, They have received their rewardG3408. 17But thou, when thou fastest, anointG218 thy headG2776, and washG3538 thy faceG4383; 18that thou be not seenG991 of menG444 to fastG3522, but of thy FatherG3962 who is in secretG2927: and thy FatherG3962, who seeth in secretG2927, shall recompense thee.
